Probably the cheapest booze in town, great atmosphere (very student-y) live music is great, been coming here for years and will continue to.
I don't know when all the students discovered this place but it used to be a really quiet place to go for a drink and now I can never find a place to sit, cheap drinks tho 10/10, niceone

Cozy, neighborhood pub with friendly bar tenders. Upon request, the staff would shout the score lines at passing taxis to keep them current on the latest goals. Very affordable prices.
Absolutely fantastic good vibrations! Really good atmosphere! Manager and staff provided good customer service and were really welcoming! Definitely would recommend for a bev when in Liverpool! 5 stars absolutely!
Went to Liverpool for the CL final and watched it here. Atmosphere was amazing had a massive screen at the front.... they limited the amount of people in the bar which was great because it wasn't overcrowded amd was still plenty of room to move about. Drink prices were reasonable staff were great as
My boyfriend and I love the Scholar and come here almost every week. The Scholar’s Ruin is a cheap and tasty beer made here, and the atmosphere is always brilliant. Also, they always show the football games.
£2 beer and £2 double vodka with mixers.

Great place for socialising. Plenty happening, open Mic, comedy, poetry,music and live sports. Nice selection of grub on offer too at reasonable prices. Love it.
Very nice new local for me. Staff member was to preoccupied with texting on his phone. But amazing service all round booze is cheap as well
