I have always loved the Retreat. We went for lunch. The server was attentive, food excellent and beautifully decorated for the holidays. One downside of a popular spot is it can be a bit loud . Not really a criticism since nothing can be done about it but just acknowledging the atmosphere on a busy Sunday at noon for lunch.

What didn’t start out as a great experience ended really well thanks to Jeremy who I believe works in the kitchen but stepped up as a server to our large party and made it a fantastic Christmas lunch with family. That man deserves a raise, absolutely phenomenal!!!

Had a mini class reunion there last week. Food was great. Our servicer was so accommodating. My ribeye was perfect as well as my husband's club sandwich.

We had reservations for 7 of us on a Sunday. It was busy, but our waitress was wonderful, friendly, and efficient. Everyone enjoyed their meals!

Waitress was excellent. We had the best service. A table of women is not usually taken care of, but she took great care of us. I will go back again. Wish I got her name.

Omg the food was superb and very generous amounts. I love the cozy atmosphere. The servers were great. We had about 50 people in our party and they brought out our dinners hot and quickly. We can't wait to go back.

My first time here and my first impression was wow, it's a beautiful place. We came here for a drink after dinner somewhere else. They had a live band outside on the patio. The patio has lights strung along the patio and there is plenty of room to dance/move around even on a busy Saturday night. Even though we didn't eat here we were impressed with the service from the bartenders and atmosphere. We will be back to eat next time!

Cool atmosphere, it is definitely different from your typical bar when you're hanging outside at the tiki bar or having dinner on the patio. Food was great, the place was pretty busy but the staff kept up great, they were friendly and fun. Just all around a good experience, if you're in the area I recommend stopping here for a bite or for drinks.

June 24th, 6:10pm. "4 Sam was our waitress in the dining room. Amazing service & friendly. Never felt rushed. We had the Rugged Ruben & the Caveman's Club. The onion ring & fries are light & the best. I've never had a club sandwich so full of meat & as much flavor. The best!! I could not eat it all & had 1/4 for lunch 2 days later & tasted great. Would recommend The Retreat for sure...

The place was very nice and the dining area outside was light up very nicely during the summer evening. My server was quick to take my order even though it seemed to be very busy. My food came out in good timing and hot. My favorite there is always the onion soup. Their sweet potato fries have a great crunch with a soft inner tenderness, which I love. The bar area outside servers and attendees were very nice with smiles and made me feel welcome. I definitely recommend this place for a good meal and if you want to meet new friends or ones you already have.
