I visited home in september 2019, my first visit since 1988. I had the good fortune to come upon The Lark Bistro, whose food I found to be quite delicious. I am a big salad fan, I so enjoyed the food I returned numerous times during my two week stay. I am off back up to Liverpool late June for three weeks, and shall be a regular at The Lark Bistro whilst home.

Possibly the best food I have eaten so far in Liverpool! I have 1 million plus views on my reviews and have visited over 50 places in the past 3 years so I know what I'm talking about! My starter came with a large portion of scallops, toasted black pudding, cauliflower puree and crispy kale. The toasted slices of black pudding and the large scallops really left a good impression. For the main I had a sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection, and the chips were cooked three times (boiled, baked and fried). I am definitely coming back in the future!

Stopped for a coffee and a light lunch. Food was excellent and the coffee was good. It was busy so service was a bit slow but don't let that put you off, it was worth the wait.

What a fab find! The atmosphere is great, the staff are so friendly and the decoration is really cool - eclectic but stylish.
The food is amazing and the portions are very generous. Also, kudsos for so many vegatarian and vegan options!

Great place, closest place from park to go for a toilet, Waitress was nice and friendly...
Ambience was great and right in the centre of street.
I heard that this place caters to the private parties as well.. seems great from the look.
Coffee here was great and reasonably priced too.

Lovely lunch. We had one of each of the three burgers on offer and all were great. Hot drinks were only luke warm ( cold tea pot and cups?)

Have visited here for breakfast a few times, I always have the gorgeous veggie breakfast which comes with halloumi and my other half gets the full English which he loves and says it’s best on Lark lane. Can sometimes wait on a Sunday when it’s busy but food is fresh and service is always friendly.
