The Abbey is a great little pub and the bar staff are second to none, you never wait more than a couple of seconds to be served as they look to catch your eye and ask your order as soon as you approach the bar. Very friendly pub with reasonably priced ale, and the draught San Miguel is sound too.

We live locally but hadn't been to the abbey for years , so we walked down and as you entered the pub all we could hear was laughing , the bar was clear no queuing , greeted by the manager warmly got our drinks and sat down and we were made welcome by a small group of people having a good time ,we stayed for a couple more drinks then head off , we'll go back soon.
