I went here for a baby shower on a Sunday, and I had the breakfast and the toast was very, very hard but the rest of the food was nice and the staff was excellent thanks. They have a rooftop. What is very good and the view over Liverpool was excellent.
Come here on my lunch breaks and it is so amazing! Amazing portions for prices, lovely staff, tasty food especially the fries. Coming back for more lunch breaks 😋
Excellent place to eat and drink . The atmosphere is nice and chilled...the bar staff are very welcoming .
We never ate here but we had a very warm welcome from the staff, not expensive with a laid back easy atmosphere, toilets are a bit of of a trek though and the catch on the door caught my hand as it wouldn't lick properly and the catch scratched my hand as someone else pushed the door thinking the cubicle was empty etc, this aside, we really liked the place and we would definitely go back.
Really excellent chef - I reviewed this in a previous incarnation and was really disappointed by the food.
Tempest is way way better, very chilled, relaxed atmosphere. Great beers and really good coffee, with decent WiFi for mobile workers. Basics more than nailed and then some.

We went for bottomless brunch, there's a good choice of food and cocktails to choose from. The eggs benedict was nice and the strawberry lemonade cocktail was gorgeous. Service was good but as it was busy it was sometimes difficult to get their attention for our next drink.
The service here was amazing. Everyone was really attentive and friendly. They even let us swap up some items from different menus and were very patient with our requirements. The venue itself was really cool and loved the decor. Unfortunately the food wasn't as good as we had hoped, Hollandaise sauce was amiss, 'toasted bloomer' was just normal cheap white bread, it was all okay but definitely did not meet our high expectations based on the positive experience to that point.
My partner and I, came across tempest on the first day it had opened. We tried a few cakes and the manager was amazing as she asked us what we thought about them. I mentioned the icing on one cake was too much for the size of the cupcake and it was too sweet. She was thankful about this and mentioned that was the only one she hadn't tried yet, so would give it ago.
Myself and my partner have been back to tempest numerous of times. The tuna melt bagel is incredible 😋 the coffees and cocktails especially the strawberry daiquiri are the best we've tasted.
My mother and brother- in law where up in Liverpool so my partner took them there for brunch and sat outside. Food and service was amazing once again.
Highly recommended this places and I've definitely told people I know to visit this place. You won't be disappointed!
Had a day trip to Liverpool today for lunch and drinks. Went to Tempest with a confidentials voucher and was not disappointed. Was created by a very friendly staff member named Jess who was polite, friendly, attentive but not invasive. She was amazing, and made the whole experience really positive and made us feel welcome. Food was great, big portion sizes and good options. Bar staff good too, letting us try the beer options we were unsure of before we decided. Will definitely be back and highly recommend .
The staff are absolutely fantastic here and the food tasty. I try and go at least once a month to meet friends and always have a great time.
