Really nice place with a great atmosphere and lovely team. They took time to give recommendations and check in on us to make sure everything was okay. KaiBaiBo aren't trying to serve strictly traditional Korean food, so it's best to arrive with an open mind to try new twists on familiar food. It's a nice introduction to Korean flavours for anyone who hasn't experienced them before too. It wasn't busy when we arrived so the food was quick to arrive. Plates were presented well too. At the end of the meal the team were happy to listen to any issues we had with the food. It seemed like they were aware and already had plans in place to improve and adjust, so I'll definitely try this place again in the future.

Such an underrated restaurant in Liverpool. Some really unique but perfectly executed flavours (was skeptical about the meat donut but it was gorgeous). The Korean fried chicken was super crispy and flavourful, and the tempura mushrooms were perfect. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes. Thanks for having us :)

Twice in a week! Love this place, consistently good. Thoroughly delicious food with great service. A go to for a quick scran while in town. I get overwhelmed by bold street and it's much more reasonably priced. The char sui is sensational and the tempura Mushrooms is a gateway dish for no mushroom eaters. Just fully boss all round. πŸ‘πŸœπŸ„

Fantastic place to eat! Quiet little place with a fairly small menu from which nothing we tried disappoints! If you get the chance go for a meal or small bite!

When I came upon this place I was more looking for a way out of the rain that had started. When I walked into KaiBaiBo, I was met with a chill atmosphere and a friendly greeting from the staff. The decal on the wall was something I'd get tattoo'd if honest: a happy tiger head in a bucket hat! I sat down and was given an array of food and a small drinks menu with soft/0 alcohol and alcoholic beverages. The menu recommended two small dishes to a side dish so that's what I went with; Korean Fried Chicken, House Chips (Not fries) and a...Meat Doughnut. I was highly skeptical of a cinnamon coated hot doughnut with meat inside but, when in Rome...while waiting I took a moment to enjoy the atmosphere with chill indie music and a can of coke. I caught Kai on a quiet day yet my food still took a little while however a glance in the back told me all I needed to know as they were working out of a small kitchen so beware any wait time on a busy day. When my food arrived I was amazed by the portion and presentation. The KFC was beautifully seasoned and coated in a spicy-sweet sauce that made every bite heavenly. It was almost too much! The chips were home cut and in small cubes with a layer of a mayo-type sauce that just felt right. It was a good nibble while writing this review. Now, this Meat Doughnut looked more in my opinion like a Cinnamon Meatball or Scotch Egg. However I was pleasantly suprised when I tried a bite; subtle cinnamon coating with a warm doughy texture! When I got to the beef brisket and the spicy sauce within, I understood why it was one of their top sellers! It was so unique I can't relate it to anything else! The staff liked to check on you for more drink or ask if you needed anything taking away and were a joy to chat to. They seemed like people who had passion for their humble restaurant. All in all, I'd say that KaiBaiBo has officially won my heart (enough to write my first review) and I can guarantee I'll be back again sipping an Asahi beer and having that delicious chicken very soon. Thank you KaiBaiBo staff for a great experience!

Really like the chilled atmosphere here. The food however was of just above average quality. The fried chicken is okay but I found the sauce not very authentic.

Great new spot in Liverpool, and it's automatically our favourite place for Korean food. The meat doughnut is great, as is the Korean Chicken. Good drink selection, and the whole menu is incredible value. Only slight criticism, is the bread on their Sandos doesn't seem to be of the quality of the rest of the meal. The filling is great though, pickles and kimchi were great.

A really lovely place. We went when they first opened and just went again recently. It was really great to try the new menu and lots of great dishes. The team are great and are really happy to explain their take on some South Korean flavours and dishes. Lots of options for veggies also which was great for us.

We were completely wowed by the quality of food and flavours here, every dish was absolutely on point πŸ‘ The beef bao bun is a must. Even the chips are seasoned to perfection with a slightly curried salt. The korean fried chicken was crunchy and deliciously sticky, and the char sui pork noodles were stupidly moreish and steeped in a broth so good you could drink it (we did). All washed down with a decent Chenin Blanc and excellent service. They are also very allergy aware and accomodating. We will be back!

Already the second time visiting this restaurant. I’ve tried the summer menu and the winter one as well, they were both amazing. I’ll definitely come back soon, 100% recommended!

While the food can be a small wait due to the single small kitchen in the place, the food is phenomenal! The meat doughnut was a strange but addicting treat that I wish I could have everyday, the chips were so tasty and had a lovely sauce. Don't get me started on the Korean Fried Chicken...it is to DIE for! I cannot recommend it enough! I love KaiBaiBo!

This was a cute place. Had the meat doughnut and honestly haven't tasted anything like it before. Both sweet and savoury. Delicious! Also tried pork belly and washed it down with a jeju pellong.
