Service was a bit slow and I had to clean the table myself. The food was delicious though. I had the spinach and cheese pie with chips which was very filling. My friend had a slice of chocolate cake that would have done two people easily. The mugs of tea were massive which we were very pleased with. Lovely book exchange section too which was an extra bonus. I'd definitely recommend this place to eat.

This cafe is CLOSED. I understand it shut in 2022. Afraid Google's reviews are out of date. We ate at Pete's several times in September 2017 whilst visiting for a few days. Basic decor. Sensible prices, great service. Can be very busy. Speedy service assured. We'll be back on our next visit in May. June 2023. Sadly Pete's is no more. Very sad to discover it's closed.

A group of 6 of us came for breakfast yesterday after a sunrise summit walk, luckily we found a table as it was quite limited unless you sit outside. I had the large vegetarian breakfast which was tasty especially the veggie sausage. Also had the large latte which was indeed a large mug! Wasn't as strong as I hoped but given the volume, I can forgive. No complaints from the rest of my friends who had a mixture of meat and vegan breakfast. It was a tad bit pricey £9 for the large plate but the food was nice enough. 2 female staff working was very friendly and accommodating they helped my friend providing ice cubes and towel for her sore knees. Overall a nice vibe cafe.

Came here yesterday afternoon for a bite to eat before going on a walk around the quarry. Feel good food with I must say the most perfectly cooked egg I've ever seen. And I'd 100% come back just for that particular egg. I'm not sure what the other reviews are saying that they take long, our food came extremely quickly, however I do believe that because of the location and the fact the food is so good, it is popular amongst walkers hence I assume it can get quite busy during the morning period. So if you do want something to eat quickly I would avoid the busy times. However if this doesn't bother you then any time would be just as good. I will 100% be coming back on our next trip to Wales.

We went here for breakfast and it was sublime! A great team with excellent service. Maybe not the cheapest breakfast you could find but there was plenty of very tasty food on everyone's plate - great value!

A lovely spot to have breakfast before climbing a mountain. It's just a short drive from the bottom of Snowdon so a very good place to fill up before going. The large breakfast is a great size and is all cooked perfectly. The service times were very good with 2 large breakfasts, sausage & egg roll as well as drinks being delivered very quickly. When I find myself up there again I will be visiting!

This place is great! A proper charming little egg n chips joint that is well known amongst climbers and hikers. Big mugs of tea, big portions of well cooked chips and comfy seats. I cannot think of a better place to go after a windy day in the mountains.

I don't want this to sound negative, as this place is great. Wonderful atmosphere, and clean, good value food. However, they're rather a victim of their own success. We arrived shortly after they opened, at 8.15am. It was already very busy with most tables taken. Our order was taken pretty quickly, but we had to wait 50 minutes before our tea arrived, and a further five minutes before our food followed. It wasn't the end of the world for us, as it's a nice place to chill, but it might be a problem for others. If the tea had been served sooner it would have been appreciated. Anyway, this place deserves to be busy as they're doing a lot of things right. Don't be put off!

Food was really nice and tasty, even though it wasn't holidays and the weather was bad this place was open and extremely busy! I remember this place being good from 14+ years ago. Not visited since but it was extremely tasty and fresh. We would recommend this place massively if you're looking for food locally. We were also travelling with a fussy child. Plenty on the menu for her to eat!

We visited last Sunday (17/7) it was very warm, we visited Llanberis to paddle board on the lake, which was very busy! We headed over the Petes Eats, we visit here quite often, the staff were very clearly struggling as it was obvious that there were very understaffed. We was more than happy to wait a little longer for our food as it was so hot outside, never mind in the kitchen! We both have worked in customer facing roles and understand how hard they can be, unfortunately there was a couple of rude customers and the staff handled all the situations well. A young lady, who we believed is called Phoebe, was on the till and she was absolutely brilliant. She clearly was having a long and hot/sweaty day but was working with a huge smile on her face. Food came and it was delicious, as always! Just wish customers would be more understanding when a place is understaffed and its 29 degrees outside and probably double that in the kitchen!
