I regularly visit here , when I want a treat and somewhere a little bit more special to meet friends for a catchup , and I am pleased to say I have never been disappointed.The interior decor is lovely , Beautiful attention to detail and stylish and cosy. You can tell the owners have taken real pride in making this so lovely .The food is always delicious, you can tell they use top quality ingredients and the presentation is very good. The prices are a little above average but the quality of the food , the attention to detail and the very special and uniqueness of this charming place are well worth it.
Great little shop. The work done on this shop is amazing. From a small corner shop to selling great coffee and now a quirky cafe at the back serving amazing hand made sandwiches and cakes.
We stopped on the way back from Llanelli just before their closing time and had Cappuccino and a yummy Easter egg cheese cake. It was so good I don't regret the calories.
The staff are very friendly. Definitely worth visiting.
We went for breakfast and booked on the day. When we arrived, there were plenty of tables free. The setting is welcoming and cosy. The food was great with large portions. If it wasn't for my toddler I would have loved to spend more time. They also sell kids soft toys, lovely cookies and soaps. The lady at the till even helped take my bag to the car seeing me struggle with a toddler and another kid. Thank you for making us feel welcome. I will like to visit again possibly without the children.
Great food and lovely atmosphere. A treat for my daughter and we can't wait to go again. Homemade food with lovely finishing touches. When you have finished you can browse in the shop and even buy some treats to take home. Maddocks is now a family favourite.
My wife and I visited here last week as it was recommended by friends. I enjoyed the coffee and we both enjoyed the food. Nice surroundings and pleasant staff. The presentation was excellent. However I did feel it was slightly over priced.
My advice is park at the bottom of Tumble hill and walk up. (They do have a car park) You are going to want to burn some calories before you enter the shop. Who can resist those cakes!

Lovely afternoon tea, good value and nice fresh cakes and sandwhiches with plenty of tea. Victoria sponge was really light and fluffy and accommodating with a dairy free option on a separate board.

I “won” an afternoon tea for one person (take away)in a raffle(kindly donated by Maddocks) I love my food but this was huge! My husband and I shared, it was delicious!
