We did not have the joy of afternoon tea here as the tearoom was closed for the season on our arrival. We were booked for a stay in Llangollen but our accommodation gave us an incorrect postcode hence how we ended up at Prospect garden tearoom! It had been snowing and our car got a little stuck on arrival so we walked up the drive to what we thought was our accommodation however the lady (sorry didn’t get your name) kindly informed us that we were at the wrong address and called her husband to help us out with the car. We just want to say what lovely people you are & Thank you both for your kindness, it was much appreciated & 🙏 for the lift Len! I would have definately ended up on my bottom going down the drive😂. We will return next year for afternoon tea. Looked beautiful up there even in all that snow. Wendy & Paul x

We LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Every year Linda and her staff are friendly and very efficient. The food is delicious. The cheese scones are a big hit with our family! The view is just gorgeous and sitting outside on a sunny day eating lunch is our family favourite treat. The prices are spot on, all home made food served to perfection. What more could anyone possibly want!!!

Nice place, but was a bit surprised at the prices. It definitely has gone expensive. Perhaps stick with the cream tea or cake rather than the 4.95£ well rarebit which involved a thin piece of toast with rarebit on and some side salad. 7.90 or something for two slices of toast and another 1.50£ for a rasher of bacon. So nearly 10£ for something that costs half as much in Llan canal cafe and is on proper thick hand cut bread.

Quite a ride up there but we'll worth it. Excellent food (Welsh Rarebit), & service.

A very pleasant place to sit and have a coffee and a bite to eat. We had Welsh Rarebit with a small but nice salad. All very nice, one of the better salads. You name and it was in it . There was lettuce, celery, pepper, grape, cucumber, tomato, radish, onion and no foreign oil spread over it. Dogs allowed outside. Coffee could be a bit stronger for my taste but that's down to taste. Give it a try, we will be back. Pete

Wasnt planning on going but followed signs for it..after busting Llangollen castle. Very narrow lanes. Nice gardens limited inside seating but lots outside. Nice setting but felt prices a little high. Scone in the Cream tea was already prepared i.e. cream and jam already on scone.

Great staff!
Lovely coffee with wonderful views. We didn’t have cash when we reached the cafe, but fortunately the owner allowed us to bank transfer her so we could have a few drinks.
Above and beyond service and food quality.

Excellent location with fantastic views. Pleasant staff and good quality food, though a tad on the expensive side. Served quickly. Great outside seating but small inside. Be prepared for the narrow lanes. Check opening times as they don't open at the beginning of the week. I will definitely return soon.

It's not cheap, but it has the view that needs to be seen. The food is prepared with love and thought .
Not being cheap is probably a good thing, otherwise they would all be here.
