George's Cafe Llangolen

Called in here today as a group of 4 for a quick lunch. We sat outside with our dog and were quickly offered a table inside (love a dog friendly cafe). The toasties were filled to bursting with quality ingredients. The coffee was hot and strong and the service was second to none. The dog was over the moon to be brought a slice of leftover crispy bacon too - a real dog friendly spot.

no problems here. it's a nice small cafe In the centre of Llangollen with seating available inside and outside. table service is provided making ordering quick and easy. there is a good selection of drinks, snacks and ice cream. parking is available across the street. staff were friendly and helpful. the cafe is clean and tidy.

Absolutely loved it! Stopped for breakfast on our way back from our holiday in Betws-Y-Coed. We had flat whites, a scone, and a toastie, all of which were delicious! We also grabbed a milkshake on the way out as their range of ice-cream flavours sounded too good to miss. Clearly a local hotspot, as everyone seems to know everyone. It's such a lovely, homely atmosphere. Despite us being new in town, the staff made us feel completely welcome and talked to us as if they'd known us for years. Was honestly the refreshing familiarity in a strange town we needed. Made us miss our own local hotspot, and our equivalent of George. Really hope that one day I can come back and stay near Llangollen simply so that I can visit George's again. There's just so many things on the menu I'd like to try, and not enough time to try them all!
