Had a lovely Sunday lunch in this pub today.
Really welcoming, friendly staff, very relaxed and very good food.
Really lovely portion sizes, excellent value for money and the children had space to play.
We will be back only with 8 other people next time.

So after a pretty stressful morning of searching for a hotel we where directed to this place from anouther pub. From the off the service we received was amazing. We where offered a family room at a reduced price as it wasn't what we where originally looking for. The food we had in the evening was amazing followed by the best breakfast iv had in a hotel.The bar staff where friendly and very attentive to all our needs the whole experience was brilliant and I will definatly be coming back with the children. Thank you all very much
Refined cuisine in a small village, nothing could be more typical! The cuisine is sophisticated, and the chef does a real job. The pub is large, but it's advisable to book in advance, as they serve a limited number of tables at the same time!
A lovely pub with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Met the owner, who was really chatty and made us feel welcome. Food was really tasty, and they had a good variety of ciders. Would definitely recommend!
A well run kitchen, a superb Chef, excellent service.
Fish and chips was a really chunky piece of cod, with a light, crispy, delicious batter. It was delicious and not at all greasy.
A real step above average pub food.
It felt like really good value for the effort that went into it, the quality of the ingredients and the expertise of the service.
Strongly recommend, go out of your way to eat here.
The food was delicious! We enjoyed every dish that we tried in this pub, would really recommend it if you are in the area. Reasonably priced.

We visited the Red Lion twice during our stay to Lakeside Campsite, as it is a short and easy walk. The friendly manager made sure we were seated quickly, despite being busy and attended to us very politely.
Food was amazing, excellent chefs.

Hands down the best Sunday roast in Wales. Staff were lovely and dog friendly. Ticked all our boxes.
Loved the tomato soup here and asked for a cheese sandwich ! Really well done! Wonderful lunch. A bit late in serving. Very close to the lake so perfect if you'd want to stop for a bite. Looks like it's for the localities but that's wonderful in getting the local feel and hearing the English accent which is wonderful! There is parking here.
We went for a meal and a beer the week leading upto Easter weekend (2023). We hadn't booked a table but were lucky enough to get one table for two... (next to a loud but happy lovely family group). The mane man explained they were very busy and it would be fifteen minutes before the waitress (Sarah) would be able to even take our order. No problem, fair enough! We ordered, the food came, It was delicious! We both loved it! The mane man came over to us once we finished and said, there's a nice quiet table next to the fire that's just come free in the Bar if we wanted to move?. Top man! I felt like I was welcomed in someone's home. It was a lovely meal washed down with some lovely cider. Ten out of ten to him and Sarah.
So pleased that this pub has reopened. Great wine, food and atmosphere.Jani the Manager gives the place a postive edge that money can't buy. Attended cocktail masterclass, delivered by Jani, lots learnt, lots drunk and we will be booking in for the next masterclass.
We had lunch here on a Friday. It was very quiet, but the food was delicious, served by very friendly staff. Lovely Mediterranean mezze with good beer.
