Hen Aelwyd Cafe

We stayed at adventure Park snowdonia and googled cafes for a breakfast as the food facilities were awful there. I looked at a fair few and this came up and I saw vegetarian options as my partner and son are both so thought we'd give it a go..... Wow absolutely wow unreal best breakfast we've ever eaten. Cheese on toast, veggie sausage and egg bap, vegetarian breakfast and regular breakfast extra black pudding mug of tea came to 25 pound fantastic price especially when you get 2 lovely ladies serving you feels so homely in there. Would highly recommend this place

Quaint cafe in the middle of Llanwrst, serving delicious breakfast. Staff are friendly and service was efficient. The big full breakfast was well cooked. Possibly the best hash brown I've ever had as it was freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. The Welsh rarebit was tasty and filling with a hint of mustard. Check the special boards for dishes not on the menu such as the avocado, mushroom and tomatoes on toast (can be topped with additional bacon or halloumi for a vegetarian option. Coffee was nice too, the Latte was freshly brewed. Additional seating upstairs as there is limited seating downstairs.

We found this cafe by accident after having a bad experience in town at another cafe. How happy we were! We had the best cooked breakfast we have ever had and the best service also. My partner is vegetarian and the chef even came to us to ask if she would like or butter or veg spread for her toast! Every staff member was so lovely (family business and all get along well) and other customers were clearly happy to be there. We were so impressed we went back the next day (greedy guts!) and to our surprise the lady remembered our order from the previous day. If you are visiting Llanrwst make a point of seeking this place out. If you stand outside the co op you can see the sign. Thank you again to all of you for makius so welcome. See you again soon.
