I met with my friends for a long awaited catch-up and spent the evening at the crown. We all ordered food & plenty of drinks, all of which were served very promptly and enjoyed by us all. The service was very good, no complaints at all!

Love the crown! Food and service is great. Only problem this time was all the families with kids near the back door where my table of two was. Lots of noise snd running around so we asked to move to the quieter area on the other side, which was done straight away. Other than that its ace!

Not been for a long time so thought give it a go with 30% off ,eight of us had different meals and everyone said it was very nice,staff were great too,and we'll done the chef, prices were a bit keen, and so was the beer ,but overall a nice venue,fish and chips were spot on,there was even a quiz on and it was done on your mobile phone in which I was very impressed, will come back again

We hadn't booked but managed to get a table for 3. Staff very welcoming and pleasant. Excellent options on the Menu. It was Quiz night too but not many teams entered which was a shame (I guess because people, like us, worried about food going cold whilst answering questions but it's all on line so wish we'd have joined in!). Excellent range of 'Special offers' running throughout the week. Really enjoyed our meal and drinks. Steak & Ale Pie delicious!

Came here after work and they were fully booked but managed to squeeze us in. Lovely quick service and food was delicious. Forgot the pictures of the food though. We ordered the burgers and they were fantastic. This is an order at bar service and the bar staff were friendly. I would recommend this place now that it is not a two for one as it used to be.

Bar service was a little slow as only one member of staff on taking food orders and drink orders. There were other members of staff I felt could have helped him out. We went for the Tuesday burger deal and the curry, all arrived quickly.

A really pleasant surprise. Nathan and his staff were very friendly and super efficient. Really well prepped in customer care. The food was tasty and well presented. There was a good variety of dishes on the menu and plenty of choice for vegetarians and celiacs. Pub well appointed and fantastically no sticky tables. Well done to The Crown and its staff!

One of the best places to eat in the chain. Lovely warm welcome and the needs of an elderly disabled person in our group were catered for wonderfully. The three dishes we ordered were all of a ample size and piping hot. No long wait to be served and it was delicious. Definitely one to revisit and recommend.

Lovely traditional pub,
Very tasty meals and bar food
It was clean and tidy, pleasant enough to be in for the time we were there.
The meal was good quality and very reasonably priced.
Clean toilet's and a large car park.
The pub is just what you would expect from the outside. Would stop again if we were in the area.

We went to the Crown recently for a belated birthday meal for my mum. We have previously attended this restaurant and have never had any issues. Food was spot on, although the Pasta Alfredo portion was slightly small (my opinion), all the food was hot and the wait times between courses was very fair. The service was excellent and our waitress was very friendly. We had the dirty fries to start (we shared one between the three of us and it was more than enough for a starter), a steak, pizza and Pasta Alfredo for our mains and we had the lemon muffin cheesecake and chocolate fudge sponge for dessert. We left very happy and full! Would definitely recommend and we will be returning.
