Located on the 1st floor of the hotel cafe royal. Nice low lighting with a central opening to the concierge down stairs. It’s been open for about 3 months. Photos of famous stars line the wall, low Lighting for tables- an Art Deco take on interior. Seating of bench seats with leather upholstery which was low was not the best eating ergonomics. Food- beautiful burrata and also fish lumberjack tataki. The seabass was good as well as the lamb. Unfortunately both the accompaniment of broccoli and fried was very underwhelming- the broccoli came cold and the French fries under done to the point of being limp. Beautiful French brest and the coffee eclair was average. Food was on the expensive side- we had the 50% fork deal which made the prices more affordable. The wine selection was ok- reasonable priced uplift. Service was good- warm welcome and attentive service. Ambience was quiet- If you like quite places then this is a great choice.
One of the most impressive restaurants that I've been to lately. I can't find fault with anything I was served. Service and ambiance were also superb!
Really nice meal in a lovely venue. Almost all excellent. Pity about the " fries" though. Not nice at all. Seemed to be bought in industrial product. A poor show that slightly detracted from the food. The "accompaniments seemed to be the only poor component. A bit limited and half-hearted.cSome rather shouty people nearby. Not the restaurant's fault, though. They can't choose their customers..
