Amazing place in London. I love the food. can’t wait to come back here again. Congratulations to the staff.
Excellent food, service and venue. All you need to know. Will definitely be back!
Thank you all at Five Fields for a stunning evening :o)))
Lovely place to just hangaround..
Should be visited when in chelsea
Nice dining room, kind and careful staff, and food is good. The food is served like artworks: too many colors, too many ingredients, irregularly and unevenly dropped sauces on seperate parts of the plates, probably inspired from Miros on the wall.
Five Fields was recommended by a friend who said it was not to be missed and we immediately made a reservations on Open Table (Reservations are confirmed with a credit card and 48 hour cancellation policy) We were not disappointed. The veggies are picked from their garden and meats, fish and chicken locally sourced. The dining room is beautifully decorated with tables positioned with adequate space to allow for a private conversation. The meal was perfectly prepared and served. Be prepared though the meal is pricey. Reservations should be made early.
Visually interesting that tempts the nose with a cacophony of aromatic delights. Your senses will be confused with so many opportunities for utter delight. From a large range of wine selections matched to taste delights keeps the palette excited and surprised. So much choice, be bold and throw care to the wind. Experiment on the Culinary delights, every taste is good. A little pricy but treat yourself, worth every pound. This is what dreams are made of, you will not be disappointed. Come to the field of dreams.
My second visit to The Five Fields and it turned out to be even better than the first.
My friend and I both opted for the tasting menu and everything on there was delicious.
The meal was for my friend's birthday; we received printed menus with a "happy birthday" message and a slice of delicious cake (topped with a lit candle) alongside our desserts. My friend loved these extra touches and it helped make her evening extra special.
The service is impeccable and easily the best I have experienced.
We will definitely return.
We had the private dining room and tasting menu. All very tasty and beautiful, but I must say I came away hungry. I had a wine pairing too, which was on the expensive side for an ok pairing of small amounts. I'm finding the UK very disappointing with regards to wine pairings. I'd probably not return not because it was bad but because it was only ok.
Came here on their 60£ 3 course meal deal. Service was impeccable, could not fault. Even though we only ordered off their 3 course meal, there were a lot of extras that came. Starters, bread, palate cleansers, petit fours. I think that it was excellent value. The chefs are very talented and their plating is very creative. Would highly recommend to others.
I had dinner last night at this place with my girlfriend and I must say it was a time worth remembering. They have a very wide range of wines. Everything on the menu looked do great. I ordered lamb (Yorkshire Lamb) and it was delicious and beautifully presented. Once ordered dessert we were served a sorbet melon to remove the strong flavors of the main dishes; the dessert was an ice cream milk of goats served with red beets and white chocolate. The atmosphere and quality of service are the two thing added to the list which makes you want to visit this place again.
I went to this great place with my family. Excellent in every respect: the menu particularly, the wine, the perfect professionalism and friendliness of staff. Absolutely worth the bill (not cheap) but absolutely fair for the quality of the food. Very beautifully decorated, you found this restaurant where everything seems of another era. Good presentation of food, carefully prepared and well-balanced.
Throughout the last seven years that I’ve been writing restaurant reviews there have been times when your simply blown away by the hospitality industry. Our lunch at The Five Fields on saturday was quite simply one of those occasions. This fabulous restaurant treated us to a dining experience that will be remembered for a very long time. I stated about a year ago that this place had become an absolute favourite of ours. This has now been enhanced even more after our latest visit.
Our amazing afternoon began as soon as we walked through the door with a lovely welcome from Sandra and Nuno before Miriam escorted us to our table. Once settled we we given a complimentary glass of champagne while we looked at the menu. They only serve a tasting menu for lunch but as usual it all looked very inviting. We began with a delightful selection of snacks consisting of Salmon , Leek Tart , Cheese and Onion Tartelette and a Velvet Crab consommé.
At this point sommelier Nuno came over to discuss what wine we’d like to have. He gave us a few options but in the end went for the one he seemed most passionate about. This was a Goliardo Tintos de Mar Rias Baixas from Spain a delightfully light and fruity red wine that complemented the menu perfectly. Before our first course we were in for a fantastic surprise as we headed downstairs to meet Chef Marguerite and the team. It was amazing to have a chat with them and to see them in action. We then headed back to the dining room to begin the afternoon’s festivities.
Our first course was the Celeriac with poached oyster and pine. Along with this came a little surprise of a celeriac salad. We then moved on to the Carrot with a seared and dried scallop. This came with a scallop tartare along with a carrot and scallop roe escabeche.
Onto the next next course which was a fantastic touch from the team as Marguerite sent us up an extra dish of Lobster with beetroot and rose that was absolutely stunning and accompanied with a lobster claw and green herbs side dish. A big hug from us was sent back to the kitchen. We then moved on to the Dover Sole confit with courgette which was heaven on a plate. Before moving to the main course there was another amazing surprise from the kitchen as they presented us with the Grouse with offal and girolles that simply left us on cloud nine.
Now we could move to the main course and another fabulous dish. This was the short loin of Lamb with red peppers and rosemary. Next to come was a delightful and refreshing palate cleanser of Plum preserved plum sorbet with seaweed. Before our dessert it was good to see Michaela again who has returned to the restaurant as a sommelier. She asked if we’d like a sweet wine to pair with the Apple Tart with camomile and creme fraiche. She recommended a 2014 Greek Vinsanto from the Estate Argyros in Santorini with its light raisin notes paired amazingly with the apple.
We finished with a coffee and petit fours to bring to an end a most amazing dining experience. The food was simply exceptional , the service was impeccable as always and the wine pairings were amazing. I really can’t recommend a visit to The Five Fields highly enough because if you haven’t been you are really missing out. This quite simply was hospitality at its finest and I cannot wait to walk back through their doors again.
Thank You to Marguerite , Meg , Danny and Luca in the kitchen , Sandra and Miriam for their excellent friendly service and to Nuno and Michaela for fabulous wine pairings. We absolutely look forward to seeing you all again soon.
Had a lovely dinner at The Five Fields. We had the tasking menu which was versatile, tasty and well presented. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. The staff was attentive. The food was well paced. The dishes themselves were very tasty, though some had somewhat similar aroma to them and weren't so original. The execution was excellent.
Excellent service and delicious food! Very comfortable environment, I like the light and elegant interior. We had the tasting menu, loved every course! Heard that they own a farm that supplies exclusive fresh ingredients. My favorite dish was the deer, amazing!
Like going to a museum where you eat the art, and the art is fantastic. We did the wine paired tasting menu and the variations of the same basic ingredients for each session was so fascinating.
Happy to have had the most serendipitous connection that led me to this restaurant. I owe it to the head chef’s relative who tipped off to this Michelin starred restaurant.
If your visiting London for the first or one hundredth time, a dinner at Five Fields is something you will never forget.
Delicious food, impeccable service and lovely atmosphere. Even though they offer a set tasting menu they accommodated my vegetarian and dairy intolerant diet. Simply fantastic
Superb restaurant with thoughtful and delicious courses for each ingredient. The potatoes and cucumber were our favorites but honestly everything was wonderful. Staff were outstanding as well. Thank you for a great evening.
A delicious meal that started with plenty of amuse bouche, and a well balanced, well portioned tasting menu. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and the Chassagne Montrachet was perfectly paired with the seafood heavy menu. Topping this off was exceptional service that balanced servicing our needs and providing space for us to enjoy ourselves Highly recommend.
The food is wonderful, the service is great and the wine recommended for our food is perfectly suited. The five field provides me the best free freshly baked bread which is better than any other Michelin restaurant in London. And the price is not that expensive given the quality of the food and bread provided. You won’t regret going there for sure!
Very amazing place, great service, great food , good vibe. An elegant small and cosy fine dining restaurant, definitely a Michelin Star experience. Gave 1 star less because the portions of food could be bigger, was still a but hungry after the tasting menu courses.
Celebrated birthday here - service, food, presentation were all wonderful. We tried the tasting menu at lunch, v fulfilling with great mix of seasonal herbs/ ingredients.
