Karin and Jess served us with an amazing and well served fish & chips. I totally recommend it. Tempura king prawns as starters is a must. We had a very nice time ;)

I was looking for a good local's foodie stop after a long day of wrangling disrupted trains and busses to reach The Imperial War Musuem. Prince of Wales is only a short few blocks down the street, so no need to hop on a bus. Just stop in and find a spot. We were happy to have one of the tables outside on the sidewalk. There was no wait to have our orders taken, and it seemed our supper arrived in the blink of an eye. It was super fast. I had the Sunday Roast beef, while my friend had the Sunday Roast lamb. Everything was just right. I admit I don't understand why there's two potatoes (mashed and roasted) served, but both were really good. Plate also included cauliflower, steamed cabbage, peas, carrots, gravy, and a yorkshire. Price was good too; paid £47 for the two meals plus two beverages. I couldn't have asked for a better a Sunday roast.

When first walking in the atmosphere is very welcoming. They won't be very polite and mentioned we should enjoy the back patio on a day like today. Great service. The food arrived and we chose the fish and chips and steak and gravy. First, let's talk about the flavour and there was so much. Well spiced with great taste. The beef and gravy had an amazing pastry crust. Such an enjoyable taste. The second meal was the fish and it batter on it was topped with some rock salt which worked perfectly. The fish was very light with a unique flavour I can't describe but was great. Lastly, let's discuss the price and I will say that the price is extremely reasonable and not tourist pricing and great value for what you receive. It is worth the effort to check out this location

Went here for fish and chips after visiting the Imperial War Museum. Everything was perfect. Had calamari, fish & chips, and a cheese burger. The server was amazing, football was on, and the overall vibe was great. Food was fantastic. Quintessential experience while in London!

A short walk between the Elephant and Castle underground station and the Imperial War Museum, and we were welcomed with open arms (as well as a pint) for Easter Sunday roast! The food was excellent, the service every bit as good, and the sticky toffee pudding capped off a perfect meal.

We were in London just for a few days, and were at the Tate Modern museum. We were in search of the perfect fish and chips place. We scoured google maps for places in the area, and reading the reviews, this place fit the bill. It was in the middle of the afternoon, but the place for sure is a spot that locals frequent. We ordered the fish and chips, with a side salad. Very delicious. My husband was concerned that it may be heavy and oil soaked, but on the contrary, it was perfectly seasoned and crispy, just as a perfect fish and chip should be! We chatted with the owner for a bit as well. We highly recommend this place for a local pub feel with great eats!
