We loved this experience, enjoyed every minute, the opera singers were phenomenal such a lovely sounding and performance, wonderful live piano music, amazing food & wines (we had to pre order our food when I booked ) served by the opera singers, with such care and kindness. They even sang happy birthday to my husband it was a truly wonderful evening, we will come back soon!

What a discovery! Cosy, intimate setting, delicious food, top quality musicians - what's not to like? While the incredibly talented pianist plays, the delightful singers wait tables with style & character which is then carried forward into their astonishing performances. Did I mind not talking whilst they sang? Not a bit of it! Their turns had me spellbound and each began with a short introduction - the only downside is that I let my dinner go cold whilst watching! Fully recommend, can't wait to go back!

Fantastic authentic opera experience. I went with a professional opera singer who was very complimentary about the high standards of both singing and the food. Highly recommended.

Great restaurant located above Hyde Park. The food is delicious, and you can enjoy the songs of talented and passionate singers while eating. Everyone in the staff were very welcoming and nice. They took care of all our needs, and we spent a wonderful evening in this restaurant. I strongly recommend you try this experience.

I found this quite tricky to rate. We had lots of fun on our opera evening. The pianist was fantastic and the singing was terrific. The food is French, and we enjoyed lovely starters. I have to say I was disappointed with the options for the main courses. Chicken, salmon or pig cheeks. The pig cheeks seemed the best option which my partner chose. I was jealous. My chicken was a bit uninspiring. I get it, as the meals have to be served between songs. But why not go with the french classics such as boeuf Bourgignon or coque au vin which lend themselves to mass catering but have so much more flavour. We shared a bottle of (expensive) house wine, and chose the cheese board to finish the wine with. The cheese board was lovely. I would happily of sat all night nibbling cheese and biscuits and watching/listening to the singers. I am not a fan of having to pay extra for side dishes. Despite having a voucher of value £90.00 we still ended up paying a further £60. I enjoyed the evening, but not sure if it was £150 value. Also there were opportunities to purchase cd, and leave a tip - deposited in a glass bowl in middle of room.

Was given a voucher for Bel Canto for my birthday. Interesting restaurant, dinner with the wait staff singing opera. Limited menu with the choice of 4 starters & 5 mains. There was a special of fillet steak with truffle with a £10 surcharge. Our waiter described the special coming with a jacket potato, so my guest & I both decided on the special, one cooked med/rare & the other rare. We also took some peppercorn & mushroom sauce to have with our steaks. The wait staff are opera singers firstly & not waiters, as this is apparent when it comes to service. Starters arrived & they were alright, nothing to write home about. Steaks arrived & they were both cooked medium rare. When I asked for one to be cooked rare the waiter walked away. I had to call another waiter to try & sort it out. In the end I had to ask the restaurant manager to sort it out. My guest had finished his meal before my steak was returned to me correctly cooked. Unfortunately there was no jacket potato but a patato galette & as for the mushroom sauce which was very thin & their was no mushrooms. My guest decided on taking the cheese board for dessert but I thought it was over priced at £10. Bel Canto has a very nice wine list, reds starting at £27 to £225. Decided on a very nice Melbec for £33 But had to request a large glass as they only has white wine glasses on the tables. Overall a nice evening & would probably go back again.

We had a fantastic night here. Great performance. I thought the food would be bad as it is more for the opera performance, turned out the food was not too bad. Grilled goat cheese and risotto both are good.

Beautiful, elegant evening & very special experience. The set menu of £45pp feels a bit limited with choices of 4 mains and 4 starters, but it turns to be decent food. Don’t expect 5* food it’s the entertainment and the experience you’re here for. No brainier for a date night.

Went here with a Groupon and had a great time. Food is good but not spectacular, but you come for the opera and unique experience! There was a lot of audience interaction which was fun. We had the garlic bread with olives as a starter, quiche and chicken quenelle as appetizers, the latter of which was excellent. For main, the risotto and beef bourginion, which were good. The beef wasn't cooked with the sauce, so it wasn't as flavourful. For dessert, we had the passion fruit cheesecake, and a couple coffee and teas after, as you can stay until the end (singing stops at around 11pm). Total charges on top of the £54 Groupon was about £50 with tip included. Would definitely recommend!

The food was absolutely delicious, very rich and extremely filling. Such a wonderful atmosphere, there are no words to describe the sensation you feel when the waiters start singing, just absolutely wonderful. Performances are faultless. A really lovely place to go for date night. Staff are very polite and attentive. It is expensive but worth it for a treat. Expect to tip!
