Yo! Sushi - Harvey Nichols

Lovely and clean dinning space. Friendly staffs but waiters and waitress had no idea what they were doing most of the time. Not working efficiently or smart. Forgot about our and other customers’ orders many times. Could have better staffs training. My friend and I only had YO sushi once around St.Paul, so we wanted to try it again and give it a more fair feedback. Sad to say that the “westernised” sushi is funny in our eyes and taste simple “interesting.” The ramen basically contains everything and the taste is way too complicated. Salmon fried rice is okay but the portion is small (the bottom of the bowl is flat not curved as normals.) Seaweed salad is okay and cheese sushi is definitely a western joke... no idea how this idea was invented. Warm dumplings are probably the best of the whole dinning experience though the main character should be sushi... Will not visit YO sushi again if we have food craving for sushi and reman. It’s not doing better than Itsu or Wasabi but a publicity stunt for having rotation sushi/sushi trains.

There was a small queue when we arrived but we barely waited and were seated in no time. Stellar service from Sophia the waitress. Food was made quickly and was great. There was a Yellow Plate Specials menu with Sashimi, tuna and salmon dishes that I've not seen in any other Yo! Sushi location. Veuve Cliquot also on the menu 🍾🥂 Super weird that the ends of the maki rolls were cut off and discarded - like that star I just trimmed off - what a waste! Leave the ugly ends on - we can handle it 💪

The best Japanese food I've had so far! I'm not a big fan of raw fish but there are also many options for the ones who don't eat it so it was a great experience with my friend! The staff is so friendly and helpful, always doing their best and the food was well prepared and yummy! Defo will be back. Defo recommend it.

Not even worthy of one star. Ate here 31/10 after not having eaten here in a while. Yo Sushi should be ashamed with themselves for serving cold dishes that they advertise as “hot, cooked to order”. Not to mention £4.50 plus service charge for 3 shrivelled bits of ‘katsu’ chicken..... I will never eat here again.
