Blue Nile Café catered for our staff dinner in our office last week and it was great. They accidentally quoted a price that was lower than they wanted, but they stuck to it and delivered us delicious food, in generous portions and at a very reasonable price.

Couldn't recommend it highly enough for any event and I hope one day to make it to the restaurant. Thanks Blue Nile!

I had read about this place in a blog with 200 good things about Woolwich. So opposite the huge devils Tesco in Woolwich is this stripped down and homely establishment. It is stripped back to the bare tile work of a previous incarnation. It looks fabulous. The breakfast lunch menu includes Ful Beans with boiled egg and condiments of onion, chilli, paprika and chopped tomator with a side of pitta bread. Traditional warming and tasty. They do eggs and sandwiches also. I noted at least 6 vegetarian dishes on the menu and the coffee is excellent. There are a selection of sweets including Baklava. I am mighily impressed with the place and hope to become a regular becasue my first visit was a happy revelation. Oh my breakfast of Habiti Ful and Coffee cost £6 :-)

Sailing Down WOolwich's Blue Nile. This is a fabulous, friendly and cosy cafe/restaurant where you can indulge in hearty Eritrean food alongside some Italian favourites. The original 1935 butcher's shop interior creates plenty of atmosphere, and the owner's architect son and daughter-in-law have added some groovy touches. I can warmly recommend the set menu to anyone who's a novice when it comes to Eritrean food. Mop it all up with some Eritrean injera bread. You won't leave hungry.

If, like me, you know diddly squat about Eritrean cuisine, the Bebiaynetu set menu is a great place to start. You get five meat or vegetable stews and as much

Delicious Eritrean dishes, had injera with Lamb and Beef Zigni. Staff were nice with one lending me a mobile charger. Interior is lovely. It's a shame i didn't discover this gem much earlier. Will be visiting again soon.

This was my first time here, although I love Eritrean cuisine. We were a bit taken aback by the smell proportion and serving manner compared to other places we'd been to, but it was still yummy nonetheless. A very cute setting with a nice history.

1. Very nice small cosy restaurant. The walls of the restaurant have cracked tiles showing the history of the building as a sausage shop. The restaurant although having an old style appearance is very clean tidy. 2. Service - fantastic. Very nice and friendly. Very prompt 3. Food - I have never had Eritrean food before but it was very tasty. Excellent vfm. 4. Toilet was clean. Overall very nice would go again. I would recommend the set menu so you can try everything!

A unique experience for those who like to try different cuisines. The owners are very gracious and took the trouble to explain the food to us and even a bit of history about Eritrea. Simple decor but well prepared fresh food. Excellent for vegetarians also. Have been twice but will go again for sure.

It's been a while we have had such a lovely food experience. Staff members are sweet, witty & attentive, food and drinks are really fair priced and the no frill decor simply spot on. We loved the Blue Nile, our only regret is that we should have come before! We'll be back very soon, keep on the excellent work! Xx
