So unfortunate that I have no photos but this place works on takeaway business and you can even buy a range of homemade pastas and sauces.
Although menu options are limited, they are as fresh as they can get and they change regularly! You see trays around the area with fresh pasta. The special of the day was a salmon pasta with almond and a creamy base. This was the first time I had salmon ravioli and I was blown away by how the creaminess of the sauce really complemented the salmon along with the crunch and subtle roasted flavour of the almond flakes. Pity I had to take away as the pasta stuck together a little by the time I ate it.
I got this as a set menu and it was very much worth the money but the salad was average. Really love this unpretentious place and highly recommend it!
In mid-December Pastificio Mangio opened up on the interestingly named Knightrider Street near to St.Paul’s cathedral in the business district of the city of London. I was in the area just before Christmas so popped in for a look…. “Pastificio” in Italian means “pasta factory” and “Mangio” is from the verb “mangiare” meaning “I eat” and it’s a small place aimed at takeaway – specifically stuffed/filled pasta – that’s their niche, with deli items on the left of the shop as you come in selling Italian drinks, flour and condiments etc and on the right a counter serving up the main attraction, filled pasta…
Mangio is a great place to go and get some decent hand made italian stuffed pasta, where else can you get this in London? And the fillings are sooo yummy! Only Omar casali could conjour up such a tasty menu, and don't forget the soups, they are unbelievable! The menu changes regularly, so you can never get bored.....where have you been all my life, Mangio?!
The food here is amazing and truly authentic Italian. Food is cooked fresh to order and prices are very reasonable for the location opposite St Paul’s Cathedral. Highly recommended and will be returning when in the area again
Especially good pasta for a very affordable price. Best one I’ve tried in central London. And the Sfogliatellas are 10/10✨ So tender and crunchy. The food is always very fresh and it’s such a benefit to eat with a view to St Paul’s. We tend to come here nearly every Sunday and are super satisfied with the service and atmosphere that Giulio and Griselda create.

Not only was the staff extremely friendly and welcoming, helped me put together my order, but also delivered the best takeaway pasta I’ve had in London to date.

Fantastic little place run by real Italian people! Freshly homemade pasta and desserts. Simple menu but makes you want to try all the dishes. We had delicious ravioli with porcini mashroom and sausage ( in red sauce) prepared in minutes, hot chocolate and sfogliatella, also very delicious.
Everything looked very fresh and tasty.
Highly recommended. I wish I could try something else tomorrow!
Finding this homemade pasta Italian deli was a good surprise! Located at a cul-de-sac in the middle of the office buildings looking at St. Paul's Cathedral with an outdoor table.
A simple menu with fresh salad and choices of homemade pasta with different sauces and options of desserts and coffee tea. Julio was behind the kitchen with a friendly smile happily frying the pasta in a hot pan serving takeaway clients and dining in customers orderly and professionally. The deli was clean and making you comfortably finish your Italian fix relaxingly! No wonder it's very popular!
Nice little place to stop off for lunch. Service was excellent as we needed a little help with the menu. Food was fabulous and we sat outside in the sun to enjoy it with St Paul's Cathedral in full view. Coffee was all froth and not very hot hence the 4 stars but I would definitely recommend this little Italian gem.

Absolutely delicious- worth going out of your way to eat here. I went twice in the week I was visiting- both times where excellent! Not a big menu, they cook your pasta fresh when you order. It is a small ace with counter seating and outdoor seating with an incredible view.
The food was perfect, i was feeling like in Italy. It was identical. The service was almost instant but only two people, both italians. The design of the place was great but a bit too small. Overall the best place i've eaten for now, here in London.
