I went to this place with my brother for his birthday celebration. When I was very delighted to come to this place. The staff and interiors were really good with reasonable prices. I would recommend you to go to this place.
Went here for my mums birthday on the weekend and we were so lucky enough to be seated in the conservatory, the cocktails and food was amazing we ate from the week set menu. The truffle mash is definitely a highlight and is a must it was so worth it. Had such a lovely time and the service was brilliant they could not do enough! They even bought out a lovely plate with a candle and happy birthday written in chocolate and some small cakes. Was a beautiful day and such a lovely place to go to.
Fantastic place, the food was excellent, and I was sat in the conservatory the best area at Clos Maggiore. I am delighted with the overall service, and the staff are very polite. I would most definitely recommend attending for one year anniversaries and romantic dates or if you are planning to propose.
Great food and ambiance ! Would definitely go back again. The conservatory room is not be missed , or even a table on the same floor , the second floor would be a bit different.
Unlike most restaurants in London, Clos Maggiore didn't rush our meal at all. Despite having an early sitting (7pm), we were there until gone 10pm, which for London is quite rare as they usually like to rush you in and out to get as many sittings as possible. The menu, service and aesthetics were all nice, I wouldn't say that any were outstanding but I don't have anything negative to say either.
Food was nice, relatively simplistic but tasty flavours and presented quite nicely too.
We were sat in the conservatory which was very cute but I wouldn't break your back trying to get a reservation there as opposed to the inside dining as once you've had the initial look you forget about your surroundings anyway.

The restaurant is decorated to look like you are dining in the garden, lovely touch. The food while was excellent, was very good and tasty. The service was average at best, and not as high-level as many reviewers claimed. Don't get me wrong, they are friendly but lack warmth. They do not make you feel special. The service is more reactive, rather than proactive.
Its the most perfect restaurant i have been too. The ambience is extraordinary. The staff is pleasant to talk to. And the food was just wonderful. I would advice to get a reservation in days in advance. I had the king crab tortellini and the irish trout with a bottle of red recommended by the somelier. The foux gras was delicious as well.
Clos Maggiore is supposedly London’s most romantic restaurant. Indeed, the intimate conservatory area is very pretty, bedecked with sprigs of silk apple blossoms and countless twinkling fairy lights, a huge sandstone fireplace and mirrored large arches on three walls reflecting the whole glory of it all. The other areas of this restaurant, just off the Piazza in Covent Garden, are less spectacular and more reminiscent of a country pub, so, if you go, it’s essential to book a table in the conservatory to get the full impact of all that sweet romance. Don’t be surprised if you have to book months in advance, Clos Maggiore is tiny weeny and very popular.
Had a nice weekend lunch here. The staff is very attentive and friendly, and the whole atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant.
Weekend set lunch menu is reasonably priced at £45pp, and a free glass of bubbles is a nice touch. I also appreciate they offered us extra buns of bread.
The only negative for me was the dessert - pecan tart was slightly disappointing.
Overall a good experience and would recommend it for weekend lunch.
We celebrated our anniversary in Clos Maggiore. Everything was perfect, starting from guiding us to our nice table, the tasty food, and the incredible wine menu. They even put a special surprise desert for our anniversary. Special thanks to Fatmir for being an amazing waiter.

We were hosted by the wonderful Gilles. A super classic, authentic restaurant with a team of professionals. All the dishes we ate at the restaurant were rich in flavors, sophisticated (but not too much) and so so delicious. If you are in London you must run there.
A really lovely restaurant with impeccable service, I can't think of anywhere else I have been so well cared for. We ate from the set menu and the food was delicious, I would highly recommend the truffle mash side dish! They have an extensive wine list which ranges in price from approx £30 upwards. Warm bread rolls, beautifully presented dishes, fabulous staff, great ambience, comfortable seating, clean and sweet smelling toilets! I would definitely recommend and will certainly be returning. I would give more than five stars if it was possible!
We had an anniversary lunch on a Sunday as we couldn’t get a table for 3-4 months for an dinner date due to the restaurant being fully booked. From the moment we were greeted at the door, and shown to our table the whole experience was very memorable. The menu may be a little limited for some, but we both found something we wanted and enjoyed. The atmosphere was relaxed yet you felt you could ask and get anything from the staff. I love my food and couldn’t fault the crab tartlet as a starter, then duck as a main. I didn’t have room for dessert - although the cheese looked very tempting. Highly recommended if you feel like spoiling yourself on a special occasion.
We went to Clos Maggiore first time about 8 years ago and we were already impressed by this venue then. We decided to go back and the experience was nothing short of incredible! The ambience of the restaurant is so intimate and classy. Food not only tastes delicious but the presentation is on point. Our server Laura was lovely, kind and knowledgeable. We would recommend Clos Maggiore to anyone who is looking for unique dining experience and appreciates great wines, cocktails and authentic French cousine. Thank you :)
Exquisite evening, worth every penny. Service was impeccable - loved that they kept topping up our tap water and refilling an elegant glass of ice for us (it was 31°C that day) and they would always say ‘Sorry to interrupt’ if we were tracking when they came over. The atmosphere is everything I thought it would be from reading so much online.
Now… the food. The crab tartlet starter is witchcraft and honestly one of the best things I’ve ever tasted and precisely why I’m writing this review. So complex. I don’t know what was in it but it blew my mind. Everything else was top notch too, the crab just was a level above somehow.
I cannot recommend this fine establishment enough, not only is the atmosphere incredible, the service and food match!! We were fortunate enough to be served by two gentleman who were exceptional. One of which I managed to obtain the name of, should you be fortunate enough to attend ask for ‘Gilles’, French, Spanish, English gentleman who takes a great deal of pride and precision in his craft (an artistitic soul). 10/10 from us.
We loved our experience here. Each of the dishes was so unique and so flavorful. Gilles was our server - he was so attentive, informative and lovely. Would hugely recommend this place to anyone coming to the area!
Beautiful French restaurant, wonderful food and the most extensive wine list I have come across. Helpful service and the sommelier was excellent, not just pushing expensive wines at you. Only feedback was the fillet I ordered was pretty small
