Galley Restaurant & Bar

We booked to see Romeo & Juliette at Sadler’s Wells this week, I was looking for a restaurant open to visit after the show as it finished at 10pm, searching Galley was open. After a brisk walk to the restaurant we arrived very hungry. We were welcomed by the lovely waitress Mayra who sat us at a lovely booth. The music , concept and vibe is superb. On to the food, we told Mayra that we were starving and we would love Courgette Frites and Halloumi Fries ASAP. They arrived 2 mins later. We then went for the Hot Seafood Platter which as you can see by the photos below were superb. The best part was the muscles with the superb chilli and lemongrass broth. Our next favourite was the soft shell grab. We will be returning with friends next month. Keep up the amazing work and flavours :) Thanks again for a wonderful end to our evening.

Really, really, good food. I went on a Sunday lunchtime and Galley have a brunch menu running til 3pm, however they are also happy to serve off the “main” menu. The bonus of this is that you can order off either menu! So I had food from the main menu, and the £15 bottomless Prosecco from the brunch menu - perfect! We ordered the sharing platter - what a feast! Everything was cooked to perfection, and had the most amazing flavours. I’ve never had mussels cooked in a Thai curry broth before, but wow! The service was excellent, and the staff couldn’t do enough for us.

Popped in for a late Sunday brunch and was pleasantly surprised. A lovely chicken schnitzel with 2 fried eggs on top, and a brûlée’s banana and chocolate waffle. Not such a fan of the thinner, harder style waffle but the presentation and taste was great. Great, friendly service. Nicely decorated restaurant and enjoyed being able to see into the kitchen.

Looking for a restaurant to celebrate my 50th I found this place on the internet and I really did well! Very attentive and personal service all night with even the kitchen staff singing happy birthday for me. Food was spectacular, presentation beautiful and with the amount and quality of food we had the price was absolutely reasonable. Highly recommended! ❤

Had a lovely meal here for my husbands 30th birthday. Happy hour drinks before we sat down to our table to which the food was excellent. My husband loves seafood and he was thrilled at how delicious it was. Other options for myself who isn't into seafood which tasted just as good. Staff were lovely and happy to have a chat. Great atmosphere and very trendy decor. Overall very happy with our experience so much I forgot to take more photos. Thanks all
