The high tea is really good, and you get a huge amount of food for a reasonable price. They have a gluten free version too which was delicious. The staff clearly know the cats really well and are happy to show you how they like to play and be petted. Gorgeous cats that are really friendly and enjoy the cuddles.

You remember that online dating video that went viral, where a woman declared her love for cats? And then the mashup video, turning it into a song, which also proceeded to go viral? If you don’t, where have you been? Here it is in all its glory:. I’m pretty sure it’s all staged, but it still makes me giggle all the same. “I just want to hug all of them, but I can’t hug every cat” resonates with me. I love them! You may have read on here that after nearly 7 years of living together, Tim and I finally got our first kitten this summer, as we bought a house that we felt would be suitable for a cat to live in (our previous tiny East London flat wouldn’t really have been fair) and we just adore him.

The food is a secondary thought when you book a table, but as it turns out, it's pretty good. We had a ploughman's with a me-sized portion of cheese (any less is a tragic waste of dairy) and a massive slice of banoffee pie to share, before going back to embracing our inner crazy cat ladies.

Lovely way to start a Sunday morning.

As you enter, the cafe/kitchen section is there with a scrummy looking array of cakes (forgot to ask where they get them from! doh!)

A very feline looking girl took us through the 1st room (the one you can see through the windows) and downstairs, which is actually cooler I think. Downstairs there was lots of toys, climbing posts and hidey places. We went at 10 in the morning so some cats were still a bit sleepy and would much rather have been lounging around than being pestered by the 2 young kids that were in there. Luckily they found a very playful young cat to play with so the others could carry on sleeping. It was lovely though to see how happy these children were in the presence of cats.

The drinks menu is rather large, with a speciality drink in each cat's honour. Food wise, as we were there for breakfast I had a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel which was tasty and the fella had a scone/scon (depends if you say it wrong or not).

After our belly's were full we still had over half of our 90min session left and I went round visiting but not touching the sleeping kittys. The friendly staff then found one of the kittens favourite toys to coax it over and I had a lovely 15 mins playing catch the feathers on a bungy rope, before the kitten got a real good grip and stole it from me :) I personally would have been super happy with one just sitting next to me, maybe a gentle stroke but they did mostly seem like they didn't  want much fuss, I've heard this can change throughout the day though and they're more up for attention in the afternoon.

It's a great environment for the cats, not too over crowded and the staff really care for them properly unlike some other cat cafes.

I can see why they have the cover charge but it was a tad on the expensive side when the breakfast and drinks all added up. However, it's an occasional treat out and the only place doing it in England so still worth it. I just wish I got to see where Petra was hiding before I left the building. That's the biggest fluff monster I've ever seen.

I am an animal lover so I backed this place up as soon as it was on Kickstarter :)

The staff were friendly and accommodating to our needs. When choosing a cake to eat (as part of our Kickstarter voucher), I went for the Orange and Dark Chocolate vegan cake, which was a great dairy and egg free alternative. The bitterness of the chocolate was balanced with the sweetness of the orange.

My partner had the red velvet cake, which was well presented but he found it a little on the dry side.

We went in the morning but most of the cats were more interested in doing their own thing until right at the end, some of them became more playful :)

They're just so damn cute and fluffy. So it was with great fanfare that my reservation at Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium, London's first cat cafe, arrived three months after the initial booking. Most likely due to health and safety laws, they don't cook on the premises - all of the food is understandably pre-made. Domestic pets and food preparation should only mix in Pixar films, and I'm no food critic, but I recoiled a bit when the French chef/rat was chopping up vegetables for his Ratatouille dish.

We both got the vibes that it was worth the risk of cancelling our dinner reservation in order to take a chance on Lady Dinah's. I'm so glad we did, we had the time of our lives...

This place is such a cool idea! I would especially recommend if for cat lovers but also for general animal lovers too.
From my understanding, proceeds earned at this cafe go to supporting rescued cats.

It's basically a small cafe where you can have afternoon tea and snacks while being surrounded by cats.

I would like to say that I was definitely expecting a lot more cats than what I saw! But it was still an enjoyable experience to play with the cats I found prancing around.

I would recommend sitting upstairs as downstairs smelled like litter boxes, which can defiantly ruin the appetite.

Check this place out!

Lovely kittens, beautiful and loved. The stuff in the caffe are friendly and welcoming. We've had a great fun and wonderful experience. Personally i wish to have played and seen more kittens, but they are animals and not toys xx

I must admit that the rating is for the cats, not the the food, but cats are why you go there, not food :)

The place is very nice, and the staff attentive. Unlike in another Cat Cafe I've been to, the staff tries to engage the cats and customers to interact, so you can do more than just looks at the resident balls of fur :) They're teach you how to play with them.

You can order some drinks, and cakes, but no warm food - the rules do not allow it due to the presence of the cats. The  place is cosy with comfy sofas, chairs, and armchairs. Everything is cat-themed: cups, plates, books on the bookshelves. You can also buy merchandise: badges, bags, and even a pretty set of a cup with a saucer, all with the cafe's logo and/or cats photos or drawings.

If you like purr-fect, fluffy animals, this is a place to go :)

The design of the cafe is like a big cat house, which I a liked. There are many cats you can pet and play with (as they have many toys there). I had hot chocolate with soy milk, vegan whipped cream and marshmallow. I have enjoyed it so much. The vanilla cup cake needs improvements as the cake was dry and not tender and the cream was extremely sweet. Nice and friendly employees especially the waitress. The cat carer gave us information about every cat we were interested in. Prices of food and drinks are average.

Simply an adorable place! Definitely recommend the scones, so yummy and cute! Staff was lovely and helpful, and clearly care a lot for the cats. The place itself was very clean and wonderfully themed. Depending on when you're there, the cats may ignore you, or you might have a lovely special moment with one, like I had (hi, Pippin!) so manage your expectations. If you're happy to have some tea and cake in the company of sleeping kitties, you'll definitely be pleased. I've been to a few cat cafes, and this is one of very few where the cats and the dining area aren't separated. I love it, but others may not so do keep that in mind. For sure my new favorite cat cafe, I only wish I could've brought Pippin back home to the States with me. Thank you to the staff for taking such great care of the kitties!

Cats paradise🤩 lots of inspiration for me to setup my cats room. The cats are clean and gentle, but not very hot 😅, but I can understand they are rescue cats, scones are yummy, bagel is cold, drinks is good.

Came here on my first day in London and the staff is super-friendly so I immediately felt very welcome. The cats are all very cute though not every one wants to be pet or interact but you can ask the staff which ones prefer which activity or interaction. They all also let you just sit next to them and enjoy their company. Some others are very active and absolutely loooove to play with you. On top that the food was delicious.

I went here 3 months ago but forgot to write a review about it so I’m going to do it now. I went to the UK with my best friend for an internship which was for a week. On our day off we put this cafe as the first place of our list for places we wanted to go to that day. We were absolutely thrilled because cats are just the best and we were hoping to see many of them and playing with them. The cats were absolutely adorable and it just felt like boosts of serotonin every time we interacted with one. We were expecting the cats to be more playful but it’s totally okay that they were just doing their thing as they should, these are living creatures that have feelings too so we should understand if they’re just not feeling that playful around the time we went. Besides the kitties the service was also amazing, the guy who helped us made ur feel really comfortable and he was just very outgoing which was really nice for us. We had ordered 2 hot chocolates and I ordered a cupcake (didn’t eat breakfast 🙉), these were also soooo good I thing about the cupcake all the time. The hot chocolate also had such a cute design of a kitty on it and ugh it was amazing. So in conclusion, GO HERE ‼️‼️‼️

The staff is very nice and helpful when dealing with the cats and kittens. The kitties are awesome too especially with the toys and at eating time. Be prepared to be ignored by them though. Really nice place and experience. Food and drinks were great too but could be better.

Let's be real: You're here for the cats! Everything else is secondary. We came here for afternoon tea, and it was a great experience. The food wasn't too bad, but, like I said before, you're here for the cats. The workers were very friendly and helpful and you can tell how fond they are of the residents. Half of the cats were napping when we first came in, but most of them came around when it was feeding time.

It was my first time in London and I wanted to experience something special and so I went there for cat coffee. For the best experience you should book your sit online 1 day before you arrive because the cafe is very popular and the staff can plan better! And please follow the rules and be patient about the little cats. The staff was incredibly nice and they tell a lot about the history of every little cat that is in the cafe. You can order by the staff members or just online by scanning the qr code on your table. It was such a nice experience and was every penny worth it! They were so cute and I had the opportunity to play with them and pet a lot of them. The cafe has a wonderful Alice in wonderland theme and it has 2 floors, one was down stairs and it looked amazing , everything on theme! The food was very delicious and there were a lot of vegan options, i looooved my vegan frappe sooo much!! The toilets were also very clean and the whole area was very quiet and comfy. I would highly recommend this place if you love cat's and want a special experience ❤️

Loved this place! Hats off to the staff who were all very attentive and caring to both the cats and the customers. You can tell the cats love them. They are well looked after and have plenty of spots for themselves, as well as to interact with people. The space is really well laid out, the food and drinks were surprisingly good and I appreciated all the small cat-themed details! Would definitely come again and would also love to support the venue and the staff in any way.
