After a blast of fresh air from the roof garden (see previous review), I built up a healthy appetite for lunch. Located in the Minster buildings, near Fenchurch Street Station, I stumbled upon this venue quite by accident and was so pleased that I did. I am always highly impressed by staff that go that extra mile for me and this is one such case. I arrived before official opening but the staff kindly accommodated me with coffee until I was able to order lunch. I went for the healthy option: avocado 🥑 and peppers 🌶, bursting with flavour and generously filled on wholemeal bread. It was the perfect lunch, not too heavy but enough to sustain a busy afternoon's work in the City. Many of the tables were reserved in advance and I can understand why. The restaurant and bar were well appointed and the atmosphere equally inviting. There was an extensive range of beverages on offer, something to suit ever taste. The toilets were spotless and the service, provided by international staff, faultless. A special mention must go to Widad, who made my whole experience at the venue exceptional and has secured its place on my shortlist of ideal venues for a business lunch.

Wonderful, friendly staff working in a lovely central London location. The set three course lunch at a cricket event was excellent, and considering the event plus lunch were in an all inclusive package, then very good value for money. Hugely enjoyable day all round!.

A wonderful place to go for dinner. I went to a charity dinner with Chris Cowdrey as the MC and Rory Bremner as the comedian. The venu is fantastic, quaint underground room with its own bar. Food was lovely and service was outstanding
