Really good Thai food in this little hidden gem! The outside of the restaurant is deceiving but the food inside is genuine. The price was very decent as well. Service is also pretty quick. Cash only restaurant

Positives: food was excellent. Price was reasonable - we spent 45 pounds for two people excluding drinks. Quirky features such as having the old pie menu still up on the wall. Clean facilities. Good menu. Good location close to Stratford high street dlr and Stratford international tube.
Negatives: cash only. This is disappointing in this day and age. Additionally this wasn't very clear and so we came unprepared. The cash machine next door was not working so this meant a trek back to the station.
There were four staff but only the owner was allowed to take orders, access drinks, take bookings and collect money. The other staff were there to put out dishes and clear up plates only. This meant service was extremely slow. We waited twenty minutes for a bottle if water and by the time it arrived I had gotten a headache from thirst. We had to wait for the owner to get off the phone before we could order our food. It took around twenty minutes to arrive. It was good but by this point I was just hungry and couldn't fully appreciate it for how good it was.
I have rated it a four. It could have been a lot more if the full experience matched the quality of the food and the fun theme of eating in a restaurant converted from an old pie shop. I would recommend but don't arrive famished and thirsty!

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable owners, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide Thai food list. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

I followed the google rating and found this Thai restaurant. The menu has many choices and the price is reasonable. It is sadly that it only accepts takeaway order. I tried the pad Se-ew and it exactly tastes like what I had in Thailand. Probably this is a REAL Thai restaurant. Will love to revisit and try other food from them. It is tasty and the portion is good.

Stumbled upon this family run charm that used to be a pie shop (was it too obvious?) I loved the ambience and was actually very busy for a Thursday night (no seats busy). Can't exactly remember the name of the dishes we got but the staff were very accommodating and we had 3 amazingly freshly tasty meals that we vegan -ized!

Good quality Thai food at a low price and generous portions. Nice staff and quick service. The dessert "banana in coconut milk" was excellent.

Do not be put off by the exterior! The best Thai food I have had in London. If you wanting authentic Thai food, this is the place to visit. Food was delicious, service was excellent and overall a superb experience.

Very unassuming place to eat, you think it’s just a regular cafe by the outside, even when you step in you think am I really going to get Thai food here, well I can say that this place is the personification of judging a book by its cover, your are greeted by friendly staff, they have a simple menu but can make dishes to how you like it, the food tastes good the whole experience is welcoming & cosy, definitely a must if you are in the area.

Absolutely delicious Thai food at a very reasonable price. The lady that served us was very friendly too. The chicken and coconut soup, Thai dumplings were some of the best I've ever had. Just a note that it's still only take away. Its not so clear from the online information.

Their fried rice(categories) are delicious. The lovely lady and team are super nice and always makes sure the food is hot and healthy. Love such customer centric services in east London.
