It was a late Monday night with all surrounding restaurants closed around 22:30 after the show except for the Boulevard Cafe and its welcoming warmth with its kitchen still open to 23:00 and time to linger after that! As the lighting was dim I could not get any pictures so suffice to describe the meals: My friend had the plaice which was perfectly cooked with the accompanying vegetables well laid out. I had the protein quinoa salad which was delicious as well. The service was attentive, professional and friendly, with the owner even coming out to apologize to another patron for the trout they had that was not spring trout but sea trout. Attention to detail that matters. I'll come back many times!
French brassiere in the heart of Covent Garden, just a minute from the Piazza. Decided to venture here after the theatre with an Open Table deal for 3 courses and a kir royal for £22.50 from Open Table. The venue is set out over 3 floors and has a nice but relaxed atmosphere. The set menu had 4-5 choices for each course, which allowed enough choice. Subject to change but the starters included chicken parfait, soup of the day and baked brie. My husband and I visited this restaurant as a pre-theatre meal so I wasn't expecting anything amazing. And I was blown away! The food was amazing and the severs were so caring and sweet. Would definitely go back!

Bon Appetite!. This is our favourite French restaurant in all of London. We take all of our visitors here and no one hasn't left this place full and happy. The waiters are nice and helpful, the atmosphere is easy and friendly, and the food is 5*.
Boulevard Brasserie 23 Oct Dinner. Having walked past Boulevard Brasserie dozens of times before, eating here was a pleasant surprise. The staff were efficient and friendly, quickly ushering us to the basement dining area. Low lighting and lit candles everywhere helped create an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. The wine list was varied yet affordable. Moules Mariniere and Foie Gras Parfait starters were generous portions. Seafood linguini was thankfully heavy on the seafood. Slow roasted pork belly a little dry, but good nevertheless. Boeuf bourguignon rich and satisfying. Wait staff attentive without being obtrusive.
We used a Top Table 50% off deal. Including a bottle of half decent Shiraz the bill for three of us totalled £75.09
I would recommend for small groups or intimate dinner dates.
Simple, good food. Beautiful mussels to start and a rib eye steak cooked to perfection. We used our Taste card here but I would go back and pay full price.
The service was slow and my steak was luke warm when it arrived. Plus you don't get the option to decide if a tip was earned. Besides all that the food was amazing and the staff were really friendly. I would go back again.
Boulevard Brasserie although is not a gastronomic experience but it is the perfect example for a simple and contented meal. The jazz music playing softly in the background made the perfect atmosphere to sit back and enjoy the food; in this respect I find many restaurants now fail to see the point. Therefore, bravo Boulevard.

I like this place, but I wish I went with a significant other instead of going by myself. It's a nice low-key French restaurant, and it's down-to-Earth without losing its class. The foie gras I had was decent, and the staffs were friendly and quick.
My son and I visited here last night and were treated to a delicious lamb rack, cooked to perfection and full of flavour, accompanied by dolphinous potatoes and a gorgeous gravy. The setting is beautifully appointed and oozes a real Parisian atmosphere. Indeed, there were a number of French tourists dining alongside us. Cédric delivered impeccable service. His good nature and humour made for an outstanding dining experience. I could gladly have spent all evening drinking and soaking up the atmosphere, and this venue will definitely feature on my favourite restaurants in London. I do hope that your experience concurs with mine. Visited again today 24/12/23 and received fantastic service from Manuel. Particularly enjoyed the French cheeseboard. Thanks for a lovely evening.
My recent visit to Boulevard Brasserie was nothing short of wonderful. The combination of delectable cuisine and top-notch service created a truly memorable experience. The food, from appetizers to dessert, was impressive, with each dish showcasing the chef's skill and creativity. What truly elevated the evening was the impeccable service. The staff's attentiveness and genuine enthusiasm added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. Our daughter was even presented with a few magic tricks before going next door to watch Frozen. This place is an absolute gem!

Went for afternoon tea. The tea and scones were wonderful. The sandwiches were pretty basic and the desserts were alright. They were wayy too sweet. Service was amazing. Overall I don't think I'll have the afternoon tea again but if I can just get the scones then I'll get as many as I can get 😋 Food would've been 3 stars if it weren't for the scones bringing it up to 4.

We were there for a meal with 5 children all under 10, we had afternoon tea and the children had the kids meals. The meals are reasonably priced but they key part is the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is good location for a meal if you are off to see Frozen or the Lion king musicals in London.

Very nice place with good atmosphere, nice selection on the menu and good food. Generally attentive service - at least once I was seated. It was a bit of a long wait (in the busy corridor), though, until I was shown to my table, although I had booked.
While waiting I observed another group of people having a discussion with the staff, who apologised for the mix-up and had to seat them at a not so good table. Apparently their reservation had gone under. So I must admit that they seemed rather disorganised when I was there, but I give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that's not the norm. So I would like to give the restaurant another try next time I'm in town.
If you're ever in Covent Garden this is the go to place, pre or post show, or just a fabulous meal, brilliant friendly staff, great French atmosphere, we both loved the food here & shared everything, highly recommended, will I be going back...absolutely yes.
