I had been there with my girlfriend. The place was too awsome. We ordered penne alls siciliana, rustica and coffee, me and my girl loved the food. The dining, cuisine and service was excellent. Interior was too pleasant and lovable. I would like to visit again.

Impromptu visit on Sunday afternoon. Friendly service. Veal Meatballs were nice and full of flavour. Such a cosy place and ideal for sharing lazy boozy afternoons with friends. A bit expensive.

Definitely the best Italian restaurant I have been to. The environment is very relaxed and romantic. The staff is flawless. Th food... incredibly delicious!! From the carpacio that melts in your mouth, to the sublime canolli, not mentioning the pizza with the most creamy burrata I've tasted. We more than recommend it!

A great little Italian restaurant near Nottinghill Gate station

✔️Atmosphere and seating was great- indoor and in the terrace area, it was difficult to choose where would be nicer to sit
✔️Staff was very friendly and welcoming
✔️Delicious pizza served on a long stand, it was delicious but not the best Ive had
✔️Spaghetti with clams was outstanding
✔️Best cannoli I've had in London
🔻Lobster ravioli was too fishy for my liking
🔻Limited salad options - only 2 on the menu and the one we ordered was quite bland

Will definitely be back to experience their terrace in the summer ☀️

Back to London and feeling like Italian we headed to Portobello Ristorante, on the elegant Kensington Park Road, a stone's throw away from Notting Hill station. Ambiance stands out with a difficult-to-match refined rustic feel. Menu is very extensive and all Italian servers were more than happy to explain the specials of the day. We decided to go for some pasta as a primi platti followed by a pizza each. I am a huge clam fan and the spaghetti vongole did not disappoint. Very good yet not unmatched. Salad choices were surprisingly very limited and the one salad we chose was OK. The pizza was very good, yet I expected a much better quality of mozzarella cheese given the expensive price. Cheese on the pizza came in a block shape resembling halloumi moreso than mozzarella balls. Having said that, the pizza is good, yet not outstanding. The cannollis were however one of the best I have ever had. A very pleasant Italian dining experience, even more so I can imagine during summer in its lovely terrace. But next time I'd go to the nearby Luna Rossa instead, my favorite Italian in the Notting Hill area. €30 a person. Follow me on instagram @londonarab_foodie

I’m sitting in a tiny cafe on the corner of King Street and Ravenscourt Road, drinking my habitual late morning Americano while I’m waiting for my car to be fixed at Autostrada, right next to Ravenscourt Park Tube Station. This is an outstanding car mechanics run by brothers Paolo and Joe. For decades they’ve been looking after my old jalopies, which are a million miles away from the smart glossy vehicles and classic cars that are their usual business. My current car, a much loved convertible little Peugeot 206, is reasonably presentable but yes, I’ve got to admit to previous embarrassments. Not once did the Autostrada boys bat an eyelid when I came in with the infamous ‘Bogeymobile’, an ancient estate car of a rather dull greenish colour which chugged more than it drove, and which hooted uncontrollably every time I turned a corner. So ugly and cringeworthy was it, that my son insisted I drop him off around the corner from wherever he wanted to be taken, for fear that it would undermine his credibility as a cool dude. Years on, he still looks upon this particular car as one of the great traumas of his adolescence. Hey ho, I’m just not a car person but I’m happy to report that since then, my cars, my son and I have gone up in the world and have substantially improved our coolness factor. Even so, he’s not keen to drive with me because, so he claims, I’m a lunatic driver. Well, I get from A to B in one piece and that’s what counts, right?

I love this place, food is simple, tasty and fresh. Great spot to eat out on the patio if the weather permits. I am writing this review a couple of years after I ate there last time, it is one of the best Italian places outside of Italy.

Superb! Will definitely come back for more.. I’m not a big fan of Italian, I’m more into Asian/fusion food, but a friend insisted that if try this place I’ll change my mind. I’m sure glad I listened to her advice. I loved it. I went there with friends and we ordered family-style to try few different dishes. Superb! My favorite: the pizza (paper-thin and crusty), grilled prawns and fish, and the homemade pork sausage. The steak was excellent too, but I just loved the seafood – It was so fresh and flavorful. The deserts looked fantastic, all made at the restaurant we were told, but the portions are a bit too generous, so I only had a little taste of the molten cake. It was heavenly. Will definitely come back for more. I loved the food and I had a great time with my friends.

My new favourite Italian and I’m not local but plan on coming back regularly. My friend has known this for years and brought me here earlier this week. We came back again later in the week having pre-ordered the liver (Fegato) It did not disappoint. Food was excellent, absolutely delicious and the service top notch! There were Birthday groups on both evenings we were there so it’s obviously a favourite for many others. Highly highly recommended!

We loved our lunch so much we went back for dinner the next night. Wait staff remembered us and even helped me with my Italian! The pizzas were amazing but try their Penne Arrabbiata... A simple dish done right is a good indication the rest of the menu will be just as good. The sauce was sweet and salty with a little spice, if we come back to Knotting Hill, we will be back!

The pizzas were pricier than the usual sourdough style pizzeria elsewhere. One of my friends thinks they use electric oven rather than wood fire one. They ordered capricciosa (£17) were tasty but my mascalazone (£17) wasn’t great. They put too much ricotta cheese and not enough of other fillings. The chilli wasn’t hot at all either. Zucchine fritte was ok (£7). Don’t order the cannoli though (£7.50). My Italians didn’t approved as they were fairly tasteless. The service was nice and the venue was comfortable. I might go again but definitely won’t choose the mascalazone.

The waiter was incredibly kind, a person who loves his job and loves to give the best of himself. Not to mention the chef who makes some incredible dishes, highly recommended. My partner and I went to visit London and we will definitely come back another time.

Decent Italian restaurant. Swift and friendly service. Prices are bit on the upper side but portions are generous. Food is tasty. We were though disappointed by the "catch of the day" since most fishes in the display were far from fresh.

A proper Italian trattoria in London (also, one of the few open after 15), great starters and primi (pasta), dessert a bit expensive but it's like an Italian tradition to do so :D Will definitely come back to try more, prices are high but reasonable for the location and quality.

A great choice for proper dining in Notting Hill area. Staff speak in Italian accent that gives the resto an authentic feels. Ensure to make a prior booking before coming down as it gets crowded at night and I've seen some people being turned away as there's not enough seating. Service is fast, staff are friendly and polite. Food and wine are fantastic!

Good but pricey. Nice space just off the tourist chaos of NHG. They have a covered terrace and nice indoor space. Food is very good with lots of seafood and Italian specialities on offer. Although the food quality wasn't quite up to the standard I was expecting, considering the price. You're looking at around £12 for a starter, and between £20-30 for a main. Wines start at £30, going up to around £800 a bottle for some of their 'super tuscans'. Staff are very good, but just a touch on the rushing you side of things. I would definitely go again and explore more of the menu when it is time for a treat or a birthday.

Great little hidden gem just off the main road of nothing hill, went in for a quick brunch in this Italian restaurant, ordered the pizza with burrata and sautéed aubergine, literally cooked to perfection bar and sauce and also a goats cheese and beetroot with salad nice little dish to share with the pizza. Loved the decor heaters on the inside to keep you warm and lovely staff that do care how the meal is.
