Portobello Ristorante - London - Photo album

My new favourite Italian and I’m not local but plan on coming back regularly. My friend has known this for years and brought me here earlier this week. We came back again later in the week having pre-ordered the liver (Fegato) It did not disappoint. Food was excellent, absolutely delicious and the s
We loved our lunch so much we went back for dinner the next night. Wait staff remembered us and even helped me with my Italian! The pizzas were amazing but try their Penne Arrabbiata... A simple dish done right is a good indication the rest of the menu will be just as good. The sauce was sweet and s
The pizzas were pricier than the usual sourdough style pizzeria elsewhere. One of my friends thinks they use electric oven rather than wood fire one. They ordered capricciosa (£17) were tasty but my mascalazone (£17) wasn’t great. They put too much ricotta cheese and not enough of other fillings. T
The waiter was incredibly kind, a person who loves his job and loves to give the best of himself. Not to mention the chef who makes some incredible dishes, highly recommended. My partner and I went to visit London and we will definitely come back another time.
Wonderful restaurant. Food was fantastic, staff super friendly and facilities were clean. 100% recommend.
Decent Italian restaurant. Swift and friendly service. Prices are bit on the upper side but portions are generous. Food is tasty. We were though disappointed by the "catch of the day" since most fishes in the display were far from fresh.
A proper Italian trattoria in London (also, one of the few open after 15), great starters and primi (pasta), dessert a bit expensive but it's like an Italian tradition to do so :D Will definitely come back to try more, prices are high but reasonable for the location and quality.
A great choice for proper dining in Notting Hill area. Staff speak in Italian accent that gives the resto an authentic feels. Ensure to make a prior booking before coming down as it gets crowded at night and I've seen some people being turned away as there's not enough seating. Service is fast, staf
Good but pricey. Nice space just off the tourist chaos of NHG. They have a covered terrace and nice indoor space. Food is very good with lots of seafood and Italian specialities on offer. Although the food quality wasn't quite up to the standard I was expecting, considering the price. You're looking
Great little hidden gem just off the main road of nothing hill, went in for a quick brunch in this Italian restaurant, ordered the pizza with burrata and sautéed aubergine, literally cooked to perfection bar and sauce and also a goats cheese and beetroot with salad nice little dish to share with the
We arrived for early dinner before our theater show and the staff took care of us. We had the sautéed spinach, mixed vegetables, bruschetta with burrata for appetizers. For dinner we had the salmon which was a very generous size and cooked perfectly, the pasta with beef ragu, and the rigatoni. Ev
Loved this place! Food, ambiance, and service were top notch! We had a great meal and were happily entertained by Alfonso and his joyful carisma :) Highly suggested for a night out and great food! Ps the torta caprese was one of the best I have ever had, even better than in Italy! And I am Italian.
This place ticked all the boxes. The pizza was totally divine, the service was warm and friendly and the cosy candlelit atmosphere was exactly how I like it.
Everything's great, authentic and expensive. £85 for two people, aperitif, pizza and bottle of wine. The pizza is actually cheap but the drinks add up. Pizza is fantastic. Perfect dough, cheese added at the perfect time so it melts but doesn't disintegrate. Topped with fresh basil and baby spinach
Wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff, the perfect place to come in groups for a nice brunch. I came during a busy time and they had seats outside for people to sit while waiting. The food was delicious, loved being able to have my dose of Italian!
Such a good Italian restaurant, delicious authentic food and welcoming owner and staff. This place has such a nice atmosphere. Will definitely go back next time in London.
