Best Greek food I've ever had!. Greek food is my favorite. In Manitoba, Canada, where we live, I have tried every Greek restaurant. While honeymooning in London, we stumbled across this authentic Greek beauty. Knowledgeable staff that suggested amazing dishes, great prices and the best tzatziki I've ever had in my life. A must try and if I ever make it back to London, I will be back!

Great food and great service! Would highly recommend!! The owner still works there and the service was just over the top, super atentive but also we stayed a bit to have a beer and at no time did they rush us at all. The food was great and the atmosphere is just fab for a total greek restaurant.
I had the most extraordinary experience at Afrodite Tavern! As I wandered by chance into this authentic Cypriot Greek restaurant, I was immediately captivated by its charming and inviting atmosphere. The ambiance transported me to a different world, and I knew I was in for something special.
The star of the evening was undoubtedly the lamb dish I ordered. It was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. The flavors were rich and tantalizing, and the tenderness of the meat was out of this world. Every bite was a symphony of taste, and I couldn't help but savor each moment.

THE best greek cypriot food outside Cyprus! We have been repeat customers since the mid 90s and it has kept the authentic food experience for all those years. Highly recommend the meze, which is our go to meal every time we visit. Such a plethora of delights, the food is simply heavenly. And the big boss himself, Pantelis, makes everyone feel at home as soon as you step through the door. Can not recommend any higher!

An amazing restaurant which is incredible value for money.
Delicious starters are served straight away including pita, olives and a bean salad. We shared the mixed grill and a small Greek salad which were heavenly. We live very locally and have been searching for a 'local go to' restaurant since moving here 3 years ago. We will definitely be frequent visitors now!
Abundant and top quality food. We went for the fish mezze. Delicious dishes served in sharing plates. The perfect place to go with friends. The restaurant is well located and the street is not crowded which makes the terrace to be enjoyable during a sunny day.
Nice traditional Greek/Cypriot taverna, went on a Saturday night it was full and very busy. Starters/dips in particular were very good and nicely presented. Probably best to go during week when perhaps a little quieter/less hectic..but overall a good experience and worth a visit.

Delicious, home style Greek food at a reasonable price. Ample portions and everything tasted great. Tried the tzatziki, hummus, a small Greek salad and spanakopita. Wish I had an appetite big enough to try the dolmades as well!
They also bring you pita bread, olives, small bean salad, radishes and hot peppers as a complimentary appetizer. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.
