Landmark spot for some incredible Indian food! Each dish we had was better than the last. Service was good and price was fair. Since this spot is so well known you'll need to book a reservation weeks in advance or be prepared for a lengthy standby line. But it's all worth it!
Great place for Bombay style Indian cuisine. Service is excellent, lines are quick and no hassle. Place was recommended to us as must visit in London and it truly stands. Worth to note that cocktails are at level of the food, I can recommend old fashioned especially.
As we entered into this big two story restaurant, during lunch time, we noticed how efficiently the staff was working. Like a well oiled machine, it didn’t matter how many people they were serving, they were very attentive and quick on picking up the dirty dishes and bringing new set of dishes and s
Being a big consumer of Indian restaurants in Paris I was curious to discover the famous Dishoom. Quite simply the best Indian restaurant of my life, the decor, the atmosphere, the very varied menu, the quality service, the speed and obviously the tastes. If you pass through London you must come and
Fantastic quality of the food and service. Alberto was very prompt and efficient. I would also like to mention manager Helena she was very friendly and had a good chat with us. It felt so nice that the vibe and environment of this place is tremendous. They have big space so they can fit a lot of peo
A great place for brunch. Interesting and long menu. House chai is a must try, especially on a typical cold and wet London day. The decor is as close as one gets to the colonial days in South East Asia.
Overall, this place is really good! Most if not all of the plates are small and you’re meant to order a bunch of different ones to share. Our favorite dishes were the chilli chicken, house black daal, and chicken ruby along with the garlic naan and cheese naan. There’s usually a long line but it mov
Superb Indian food! Perhaps the best Indian restaurant in London! Great varieties on the menu, super authentic style, decoration and atmosphere just perfect! On top you get authentic Indian Thums-Up Cola 😁! Everything is prepared freshly, if you tried Naan here, you will not be able to tolerate half
We had a beautiful lunch here for our graduation meal and our friends birthday 🎂. The waitress was lovely and sorted us out with individual bills and a desert for our birthday friend. The food was delicious and we were all really happy with our food and the service 😁 we will definitely come again xx
You need to wait atleast 1 hr outside the restaurant to get in, they offer masala chai to everyone standing in the queue which is a nice offer on my opinion. Food: is pretty descent. You get not so big portions though so order accordingly. taste is also very close to authentic so it's nice Atmosph
Hands down best Indian food I had. BUT >1 hour wait time on a THURSDAY in line OUTSIDE is crazy…a bit too much. Wouldn’t be fair to subtract a star because of this, but needs to be said…people are coming from other countries to visit with a tight agenda and then this… If you don’t wanna wait - just
Loved the food here! Price was a bit higher than usual but totally worth it 🙌🏽 Loved each dish and how innovative they are with blending certain flavours together. Love it all!! Goes so well together. Would definitely return the next time I'm in London
We had Sunday lunch at Dishoom. The food was really good, however there was a long wait time for some of the items due to how packed the restaurant was (note it was a bank holiday weekend). The crowd seemed to overwhelm the staff (maybe that should have tried to scale the waiters based on expected c
Oh my, what lovely food in a convivial setting. Just order anything and I'm sure it will be tasty. Beautifully executed Indian food with good ingredients. Good portions too. I'd mention the okra fries, because we ordered a 2nd serve lol.. The service is on point and friendly. The place is massive,
On the pricier end for Indian food, portions a bit small for what you pay. Quality and flavour is pretty good. I found the lamb a bit dry though. Their rotis and naans are excellent. They also have a great selection of vegetarian options, and street food classics.
Great food and suitable for large groups to share and try more dishes. Very friendly staff. Atmosphere was awesome, which was a bit unexpected for a chained restaurant. Loved all the curry dishes - we ordered some extra naans to dip every bit of them. Also recommend the chili toast.
Had to wait one hour for a table, so I expected the food to bang It did not It was okay, like any other fusion restaurant. The company of friends was good, the staff was very accommodating and we had a great time hanging out. Best dish for me was the black beans
We were in que half hour which is a testament to how popular this place is. There was a lovely staff member handing out free chai teas to people as we waited Restaurant itself is beautiful and atmosphere was buzzing. I loved the lamb chops and the fish special was stunning. The okra fries were deli
