Gola Restaurant

We spent a wonderful time dining at Gola. The food and wine were superb, top quality, authentic and beautifully presented. All the staff and owner were very hospitable and welcoming. It was my birthday and they presented me with a beautiful dessert which we all enjoyed. I would highly recommend dining here. We will surely return, thank you!

The food was was great!! Dishes were very originals and tasted very good. The servers were also very friendly and T least one of them was Italian so you know you’re getting the good Italian stuff in this restaurant. The ambiance was perfect too. It’s a small and welcoming place with beautiful decoration and good space distribution. I would definitely recommend it!!!

Absolutely one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been (and I am italian). This restaurant truly cooks the best dishes of the Italian tradition. We were 4 and we ordered a variety of dishes to try everything. As starters we ordered terrina di caciocavallo, burrata and carpaccio with radicchio. The Terrina was outstanding. The flavour of the caciocavallo was enhanced by some oregano and cherry tomato. So simple but so enriching. As First we ordered Cacio e Pepe, orecchiette with Cime di Rapa and paccheri with aubergine. All of them were just perfection. The cacio e pepe is the best one in London so far, creamy and cooked al dente, just as it should be. The owner kindly offered dessert and digestive at the end to complete the experience with even more amusement.

I’ve spent a wonderful evening dining at Gola with my italian friends. The menu proposes a real selection of italian dishes which are excellently reproduced and served in a surprising plate up, as you can see from the pictures. We finally get to try the famous Cacio & Pepe by Gola which didn’t disappoint me and my italian friends. Another must-try is the Orecchiette alle cime di rapa; and as starters the Focaccia, the Fried polenta and the Burrata. We also tasted a bottle of Southern Italian red wine which was kindly suggested by the staff, since the wine selection is pretty good and it was hard to make a choice. The staff and the service in general were very welcoming in respect of true italian tradition. I totally recommend this place to everyone that appreciate the real italian cuisine and culture, for a dinner between friends, family or with a loved one. The menu also proposes vegan options and the restaurant is children and pet friendly. I will surely come back to have again some wonderful pasta and to try the meat-based dishes which sounded amazing too.

Warm welcome by the owner Aaron who is very competent and professional, he knows his own food and how to advise you on appropriate choice of right dishes for a perfect meal on a night with atmosphere. Food is amazingly delicious and spectacularly presented in their generous portions. A place wherw to enjoy eating pleasure, for food lovers: like me!

Magnificent in every respect. A beautiful, romantic setting, sumptuous food, delicious extravagant wine from true wine lovers, the most considerate, skilled service and inherent kindness at every step. We enjoyed the most delightful evening as Aaron & Claudia spoilt us every moment. We long to return and celebrate once again at this wonderful restaurant. Every minute was filled with joy and laughter. Thank you very much indeed.
