To me this is one of the most beautiful hotels in Europe. Absolute class and everything about it is a must try. The bar is generally not so busy but the environment is amazing, beautiful people, the drinks are fantastic, great music and always a great time !

Afternoon Bellini. At a loose end in London Town, with queues around the block for the British Museum and Royal Academy on a busy bank holiday, we dropped in at the Dorchester at about 3:00pm but didn't fancy the full afternoon tea (as we hadn't long finished lunch). I asked if they would serve us the day's french pastries at the bar while we ordered bellinis and lapsang suchong - which they graciously made perfect for us! The service is impeccable, the ambience smart but not too pretentious - while a pianist tickled the ivories to sheet music on his ipad. How splendid!!

The place is a very elegant in terms of its decor, ambiance as well as service. The ambiance is regal and absolutely charming. The service is impeccable here and the staff is extremely friendly and hospitable. The drinks here are as good as they can get. Even though they are a bit overpriced, it is worth the experience. The Champagne Shimmer is a must-have here. It is one of the most well-presented drinks I have ever had. I would definitely recommend this place.

I happened to visit this place during my vacation to London and had a great time with my wife. The place was pumping with nice music when we got in and the pianist played extraordinarily. At that moment, there was nothing that I cared about other than my delicious cocktails and the amazing piano player.
The bartender was quite friendly as well, and all in all, I had a great last night in London.

Wandering about around the British Museum, we happened to step into this rather fascinating restaurant. Unplanned as it was, our visit to this place was a good experience. Furthermore, I would like to add that this place serves some yummy Bellini. The service only added to the already perfect experience and we were really impressed.

There is no doubt that this restaurant is heavy on the pocket and when you don't have much to spend,it may seem intimidating. But worry not, the staff, service, drinks and food is impeccable and hospitable ,giving you a good way to experience luxury. It all boils to whether the price paid is worth it? The answer is a big fat yes!

Polished marble floors with beautiful china tea cups displayed on the tables, this pure is ultimate divinity. The luxurious sofa sets spread across the already glamorous space only adds to the great experience. The delectable and fine pastries can be hogged onto while one enjoys the beautiful view from the balcony of this restaurant. Perfect for all your high tea parties!

We arrived at this place thirty minutes before our reservation time and very nicely they made us wait at their VIP area. The staff at their bar area were really courteous and prompt. They got us an amazing selection of nuts along with our drinks. I opted for white wine. For mains, i ordered wagyu burger which was delectable. Worth a visit!

Clinking China teacups, waiters pushing trolleys. Sky scrapper heels treading on polished marble floors belonging to fashionistas. A beautiful promenade filled with soft leather sofas and luxury furniture. There’s the balcony for eating the finest pastries and drinking afternoon tea. In built shopping arcade with extravagant goods. The Dorchester is one of the most iconic and elegant hotels you can get in London.

We got comfortable in the cushioned booth. I had made it my mission to try the wagyu beef. It all sounded appealing with the truffle mayo. For drinks I decided on Passion and Raspberry Colada mocktail. A beautiful concoction of sweet berries kisses swirled in coconut milk and passion fruit.

The wagyu beef burger came on a bright polished white plate, a bed of egg white mayo adhere the meat in between the bun and crisp bright green lettuce. When I eat burgers I like to cut the bun in two halves. Raw pink flesh meat oozed out between the soft pillow cushioned buns. Unfortunately taste wise it failed to deliver. Was wagyu beef overhyped? In my mind I pictured a butter soft melting meat frolicking with my tongue. But no, it gave me none of that, no flavour, pieces of meat disassembled in my mouth. The truffle mayo was also a let down, it just tasted like standard mayo. However I have high praises for the chips, the golden sunny yellow large wedges of chips stacked nicely like planks of wood. Fried to perfection, it was very filling.

My friend opted for a steak sandwich. Crusty bread sandwich between layers of meat and a crispy fried egg smothered with lashings of mayo.

We also shared a main from the grill menu between us. A mountain different selection of meat with valleys of mushrooms and deep green spinach leafs. Rich dark brown gravy poured on top of the mixed grill and greens. Never in my life have I had my vegetables over salted with my flavour then my meats. It was quite overpowering, eating the rosemary helped ever so slightly. The mixed grilled meat was tenderly cooked, and I ate it all.

Lastly deserts, the custard vanilla tart floated on top of a pool of pinkish red jelly sauce with a scoop of blood orange sorbet. The tart crust had a delicate taste, it crumbled in my mouth, the pinkish red sauce, had sharp tangy notes.

This opulent bar is found in the deluxe Dorchester Hotel on Park Lane. Soft red lighting, velvet seating and light background music make it the preferred choice for those who would like to relax with a quirky cocktail. The mirrored glass along the curved bar gives an outstanding reflection to all the coloured bespoke glasses and the finest bottles of champagne and luxury spirits which creates a unique atmosphere. The renowned Giuliano Morandin heads the team at The Bar and has devised new and classic cocktails with a twist. The cocktail list is spectacular with bespoke glasses for certain exclusive cocktails. Ladies try the ā€˜Champagne Simmer’ which is served with the Dorchester Collection’s very own lipgloss! There is also ā€˜Her Majesty’s Cup’ which was created to pay homage to the Queen on her Diamond Jubilee. This Earl Grey flavoured champagne cocktail is served in a quirky teacup with an accompanying teapot! There is a wide selection of food available at the Bar, not just bar snacks, where you can expect extravagant delicacies such as lobster, prawns and Wagyu Burgers. This Bar is one of the finest in London and is a place to see and be seen in!

I recently visited ā€˜The Dorchester – Bar’ for evening drinks on a warm summer evening. Stepping through the entrance of this grand hotel you are at the start of what seems like a never ending hallway of golden ceiling features and decorative artwork.

Once inside and through to the bar the scenery takes a dramatic twist from the somewhat outlandish to carefree tranquillity. The curved bar sweeps through the room, playing host to the arched chairs and rounded tables all the while surrounded by artificial glass flames – as if inside a volcanic hideout.

I was in the mood to wind down and what better place to relax; the table service is impeccable without seeming pushy; they are polite and accommodating. Throughout the evening our olives and table peanuts where refilled without request numerous times – although one might suggest bringing over larger portions. The cocktails are very well presented with the alcohol and juices blending in uniform, all drinks are served in very good time.

I ordered the ā€˜El Dorado’ a 15 year old whiskey on the rocks, priced at Ā£13.50 I think it was equitable considering the least expensive alcoholic drink on the menu is a bottle of larger for Ā£7. Needless to say ā€˜The Dorchester’ is not the type of bar to begin a night on the town for thee of little expenditure. Maserati’s and Lamborghini’s sit on display at the entrance of this iconic hotel – the clientele here are accustomed to the high standard of service, ā€˜The Dorchester’ is imbalanced to this. For those looking to impress guests and friends alike I would highly recommend a trip to ā€˜The Dorchester’.

The Bar at the Dorchester matches the premium service you expect of a 5 star hotel with a bar menu which would impress even the snootiest of their guests. The venue is best described as old glamour chic, with a brass and red colour scheme. Which is complemented by low-lit lighting, a back lit bar and brass mirrored tables, allowing for a sophisticated lighting effect while keeping the bar itself as the focus of the room. The other stand out feature of the venue is the red glass spikes which surround the walls. If I could fault the venue in anyway I would say the decor was slightly dated, but then again one could argue that the Dorchester needn’t keep up with modern fashion trends, it being an icon of old style glamour itself.

I opted for the East India cocktail for my first round. It was predominantly citrusy in flavour with delicate Courvoisier Exclusiif under tones. Its price was most definitely on the steeper end at 16 pounds. However, if it wasn't the best cocktail I have had it was definitely the most expertly crafted cocktail I have ever had. In fact I don't think I ever had a cocktail before were the craftsmanship of the drink came through in its taste. For my second round I went for the mysterious "black spider," whose main component was tequila. I must admit that by this point I was not at my soberest, having gone out for drinks before arriving to the Dorchester, and I would never normally order a tequila based cocktail, seeing as I absolutely loath tequila. However, it was one less than sober decision I didn't end up regretting as the expert cocktail mixer at the bar managed to complement the tequila perfectly with black current juice and with chilly and lemon(?) undertones. I am actually not too sure I remember what was in it but I highly recommend it.

We were probably at the Dorchester for around 2 hours and during that time we were given 5 refills of our "complementary" nuts and olives which perfectly exemplifies the sort of service you get at the Dorchester. That said as one might expect, a 5 star experience at the Dorchester will cost you a 5 star price. Our tab came to 128 pounds for 6 drinks with a 28 pound "service charge." The Bar at the Dorchester is unaffordable as your go to drinking joint but if you feel like treating yourself to a bit of glamour and some divine drinks its the place to go.

The cocktail menu at the bar is extensive and none of them disappoint. Right from the taste to the presentation, there is not much to fault here. The prices are at the upper end of the range but then thats what you expect to pay in a hotel on park lane. It does mean though that the place is never over crowded and its a great place to go and chat with friends over a cocktail or two. Would highly recommend as a place to chill out on the weekend or for a drink or two after work.

I have been to the Dorchestor before - It is one of the most gorgeous hotels I have been to. We were a bunch of people and had made a reservation. The staff was polite and escorted us to our rather fancy table. We were hitting a club later on so we were only there for a few drinks. Heard a lot about their cocktails so my friend insisted we tried a few. The cocktails at the Dorchestor can be quite strong - they hit the spot. Very nicely done though - you know they spend time making those and the product is immaculate. The decor is magnificent and is quintessentially English. The red decor is very appealing and is a treat to the eyes. It was packed given it was a Saturday night but did not stop us from having an intimate evening. Surprisingly the cocktails are not ridiculously priced unless you go for one of their rather expensive Cognac's!

It is a great place to impress a client or a date! The service is incredible and they really do treat you well. The waiters are well knowledgable of the menu and are fully capable of making subtle recommendations when you are unsure of what to order. It's the Dorchester and it's all about the presentation and they do it so well from the appetisers to the cocktails. I will try out other restaurants in the hotel when I go back after a drink at the bar. I'm a fan!

Dorchestor - excellent customer service!
First the walk from the gate to the bar - absolutely beautiful. I have been to a lot of fancy hotels and this was definitely one of the best I have been to. Royal yet not over the top - posh not pretentious. We had made a reservation and our table wasn't ready so they apologized and asked us to wait at the bar. They got us a nice table and we ordered drinks. Within minutes one of the waitresses got us a free appetizer - with complements from the chef! Man they made us feel like celebrities.
The drinks were absolutely fantastic - the waitress really helped us order as we got very confused with the long 6-7 page cocktail menu. The cocktails were lovely and beautifully presented. I had the East India, Dorchestor of London and Harry's Cocktail and they were all nicely made and quite strong!
My friends had a few bottles of Champagne.
Now, we were expecting the cocktails and the appetizers to be nice etc. But what I wasn't expecting was the rather humble experience. Service at fancy hotels is nice etc but there is a bit of arrogance that you can smell off the staff only because they work for such notable establishments. What was different about the Dorchestor was that despite being one of the fanciest names in the world I'd say - the staff was very humble and modest - which is what made the experience mind-blowing. They did not have to apologize for the 5 minutes delay and they not have to bring a free appetizer but that's what sets them apart from the 'others'.
British customer service at its best!

Hello guys! Here I am šŸ¤— have to admit bit sleepy, but hey happy to talk about my food! Let me start with absolutely one of the best dining experiences and customer service I have received lately! I truly believe that this is one of the most important factors in regards to any dining experience. The point is you want to feel welcomed and leave that place with a smile on your face and wish to come back again soon! The manager was beyond helpful and it made us feel we were like family! He even took us on a kitchen tour, and I was so pleasantly surprised and impressed! Being a foodie and someone who loves cooking, I truly appreciated it! So thank you for that! Also thank you to a lovely bartender who came to greet us and offered a fantastic limoncello! Grazie! Now about the food. I enjoyed so much crispy semolina with Gouda cheese and salami on top! Delicious! Must try. Fried Shimeji Mushrooms were ok. Need some improvement in the batter and less fried. Lamb skewers were good. The grilled monkfish with lingonberries was amazing. Tender, juicy and done perfectly! Bravo Chef! Also, Cornish Plaice with anchovies and warm tartar sauce was so tasty and light. The fried anchovy was so good, (and I am someone who doesn’t love anchovies) but this one was so wonderful! Next was the double fried chips and I enjoyed them so much. Crispy and soft inside. Of course I always have space for something sweet šŸ˜‚ the fig tarte tatin with fig leaf soft serve was so nicely done and super tasty. I personally adore figs and they were so delicious. Almost forgot my lobster Cesar salad, it was lovely and I am so picky with my lobster. It was fresh and light and properly cooked. You will love it! Cheers to all foodies!šŸ™

Incredible experience at the Grill by Tom Booton! Couldn't recommend it enough. The new menu is great - definitely worth trying a few bits from the snack menu, which were all very tasty! This is my first visit since the refurbishment. I booked a table in the Grill. It's definitely a different place now. The meal and service were very good. The Vespers Bar doesn't open until 16:00 hrs, but there is a very good bar at the far end of the tea lounge. So I enjoyed a couple of dry Martini to whet the appetite.

Well we planned to visit it after visiting our office. It’s a restaurant with beautiful and charming interior inside the hotel. I’ve ordered a beer ā€œRossiniā€, the meat from which was perfect however vegetables under were over salted. No complaints regarding the pigeon. In addition in my Caesar salad was fennel which brings a weird taste to it.

Nice Interior. No good start menu. But, Main menu was soo good. Most of london High end restaurants are wine list no good. Paris restaurant is so good. I miss paris. But... I shoud come marcus belgravia again. It was one of Best Restaurant in London until now. And... This restaurant has so many wines on the wine list Book. Dessert are amazing. Interior was so luxury.

We had Sunday lunch at The Grill which was a Christmas present from our daughter and we also celebrated my birthday which was earlier in the week. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance about it and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The lunch was superb the mushrooms as a starter were amazing and the roast beef for main was spot on. The draught lager was great and one I wasn’t familiar with but comes highly recommended. Unfortunately we couldn’t manage a desert as we were so full from our starter and main meal. In summary a wonderful treat on a Sunday afternoon and a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

I recently had an exceptional brunch at The Grill by Tom Booton, and I must say, it was an absolute delight for all the senses. The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by friendly staff members. The brunch menu was offering options that catered to all taste preferences and each dish was thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented. They catered for my intolerance and offered delicious dairy-free options without compromising on taste or quality. The attentive staff and thoughtful menu selection made it a truly enjoyable dining experience for someone with dietary restrictions. Each ingredient was fresh, flavorful with vibrant colors and artistic plating that showcased the chef's dedication to both taste and aesthetics. This place is a true gem when it comes to brunch and I would highly recommend!

Simply stunning evening at The Grill. Best food in London and the service was incredible. Big shout out to Grace as our waitress who was so friendly, incredible knowledge and all round brilliant. We had two courses and then the third at the pudding bar which is a must! You get to see the prep and speak to the chefs. Another big shout out to Freddie who was so lovely at explaining everything and what a treat those puddings are. Best place in London and better than all the big name restaurants I have been to. This is Michelin star quality, so go now before they are awarded it and prices go up! :)
