Gorgeous food. Attentive service but not over the top. Great atmosphere. The sift shell crab is amazing.

Formerly Fishook - same management but now with a broader menu. Same great cooking and excellent weekend lunch offers. Definitely worth a visit.

Michael Nadra opened his first solo restaurant Fish Hoek (later Fish Hook) in Chiswick in 2005 after a stint as a sous chef at La Trompette, and jobs with chefs such as Stephen Terry and Bruce Poole. In 2010 he has reverted to cooking meat as well as fish

Who is Michael Nadra? Yes I wondered that too initially. His profile is mostly kept to a minimum even though he has been cooking at his restaurant for five years now. Formerly the Fish Hook, it was opened by Nadra in 2005, and as I understand it with much

Quaint little dining room with great seafood. Accompanied by a good range of wines at reasonable prices. The tables in the window nooks are cosy and comfortable.

We visted this restaurant for an anniversary dinner and left very satisfied with the level of service and food. The starter with squid was superb and unique. Mains - we got a duck main and sea bream main. Both were very good but sea bream was better. Desserts - Cheesecake and chocolate lava cake. Both excellent . The cheesecake was unusual but very tasty. Highly recommended.

Seriously good food. Small and quiet place. Very professional staff. We ordered Tuna Sashimi and Mastelo cheese as starters and Springs Welsh Lamb loin, and Iberico presa. Everything was absolutely delicious. Amazing and interesting drinks menu. But even the house Michael Nadra house are quite good.

Lovely meal last night for 7 of us. Gorgeous menu, super wines and champagne, lovely service, great bread, salty butter, reasonable price for the quality and nice loos too! If I was to be picky I'd say increase the salmon/octopus to sauce ratio and the duck was cooked 90 seconds too much. But really was superb and will defo go again. Lovely jubbly.

Great food, more of a cosy place - not too showy with polished furniture everywhere. Took someone there for lunch - two meals, dessert and few drinks, £125. Would go again 👍

An excellent little gem of a restaurant. We only had a main course and a dessert for lunch, and my wife had a glass of house red, so we did not tax their offerings to the full extent. But what we had was excellent. The service was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely want to return here for the full taster menu experience. And the final great surprise was the value. The bill was lower than I expected, and for the experience really did represent great value.

Food was delicious! I had the steamed sea bass and my wife had the wagyu steak with Welsh braised cheek. Both were equally delicious! Service was very good - attentive and very helpful. Will definitely be coming back. 01.04.19 - Visited on Mother's Day 2019 and very delighted with the restaurant. Staff were superb, and they were very accommodating for my 5 and 2 year old. The children loved their pasta and sauce - made fresh in the kitchen that day - never before have they eaten at a restaurant with minimum fuss and ease as they did yesterday. Food is, and has always been on point. Thank you.

We were a party of three for a special birthday celebration. What a treat! The 6-course tasting menu with wine pairings was absolutely perfect for the occasion. They even offered a vegetarian option of the entire menu. My favourite dish was Asian inspired seabass - such delicate flavours. Service was warm and friendly, yet discreet. Very impressive! Thank you for a wonderful time.

Relaxed modern European place with a few twists. Waitress couldn't have been more helpful when ordering mains. Burger that actually tasted of meat (a rarity) and an excellent sliced rib eye. Great sides, fries with sage, truffled mash and green veg. Add a few drinks and a glass of house wine, one pudding and service it came in at £50 a head. And was worth EVERY penny.

We visited Michael Nadra for my partners birthday. We opted to have the 6 course tasting menu with wine pairings. This was excellent value. The food was excellently cooked and every course was absolutely delicious, however, the dishes perhaps lacked some of the creativity of some Michellin starred restaurants. The service was good and they were very accommodating to our requests over the menu. Overall a great meal and would definitely go again
