Bread Ahead is the ultimate foodie destination for anything to do with bakery goods.
Not only have they got the absolute top doughnuts in London (not too sweet & perfectly balanced with a whole variety of toppings), you can even learn to make the exact ones at home from their thriving in-person bakery courses. I have bought gift vouchers for friends to go on these courses with me & we always thoroughly enjoy our day or half day. The staff (and owner) are so lovely too, and the latest admin issue I’ve had was swiftly dealt with - thank you Molly!!)
The doughnuts are amazing. There is a huge variety of flavors. 'Pistacio' and 'Sea salted caramel & honeycomb' doughnuts were delicious. I would highly recommend trying it out. The queue moves pretty fast. Considering the size of the donut, the price may be a bit too high.
Really nice donuts. :) Bread Ahead makes really good donuts! It tastes really good. Different varieties are available and all are delicious. Sometimes we wait in queue too long. I think they can work in a more coordinated way to reduce the queue, but other than that it's worth the wait for these delicious donuts. If there's a Bread Ahead nearby, go and enjoy your donuts! :)
The doughnuts are not too sweet, which I liked. The pistachio one is nice. My husband loves it. The blackcurrant cheesecake is also yummy, but it would have been nice to add more cheese cream so it will be more "cheesy", as the title suggest. Overall, nice dessert.
Donuts are many flavours, the taste is lovely full with jam. I also have donuts from Bread Ahead every time when I visit Borough market. They are a bit pricey £4.5 each 😅 Anyway I recommend you guys to try
Definitely worth the queue if you’re in or around Borough Market. The donuts are amazing and they offer a variety of flavor most of which are amazing!! We had the honey crumble and would highly recommend trying it out - the prices were okay and the queue wait was not so long.

Definitely a must when in Borough Market. Be prepared for long queue but it goes very fast.
Ordered a pistachio donut during our visit at borough market. The filling was creamy but light, and very pleasant to eat as a dessert / snack. Totally worth the queue.

I got a cinnamon roll at the Borough Market location on a recent visit to London and it was so delicious. They boxed it for me so I could carry it without crushing it and I thoroughly enjoyed it later at my hotel. The bread was fresh with the perfect amount of cinnamon sugar, and the cream cheese icing was perfection. Looking forward to having another on my next visit to London.
