Excellent indian food and impeccable service. Highly recoomend the bhuna gosht and chicken lababdar with garlic naan. Loved their pista kulfi too not the usual green found in most restaurant which appears to be readymade in comparison to this home made creation. A must visit if in putney.
Fantastic and beautifully flavoured food. The Rista in particular is highly recommended. Staff were attentive and the ambience is very pleasant. Would definitely come back.

Excellent Indian food. Have been visiting this place for so many months and each time the food is so consistent and flavourful. Tried the mug tikka labadar, coconut korma peshawar naan. These are my favourite mild curries while my friend likes the lamb roganjosh and spicy karahi chicken. Absolutely love this place with such welcoming staff. Definitely recommend this place.
Kashmir in Putney unsurprisingly claims to specialise in Kashmiri dishes. Each one is highlighted with a small red maple (or possibly chinar) leaf on the menu, all the better to stand out amidst the larger selection of more familiar curry house staples on the menu. I’m not usually one to be guided by such menu iconography, but I decided to entrust myself to this handholding – especially as these marked Kashmiri dishes not only make up a very small fraction of the menu, but, with the exception of a handful of familiar faces, rarely seem to turn up elsewhere in London. I’m glad I did.
Best Indian food. Very flavourful and nice aroma and quality ingredients. Staff are very friendly and ready to help. Loved the ambience. It was a buzzing restaurant. Would love to go back for sure. The only drawback had to wait 20 mins to get a table.
Having visited the indian triangle and dined in the metro it was great to enjoy the same curry after a long time. Just simply amazing, the best indian food I have had in a long time. Must visit.

Worth a visit .
One of the best places for north Indian food. I thought of this place as a decent Indian curry house like just another Indian restaurant but it definitely surprised us with a high end quality meal with wonderful presentation done on our starters. Surpassed our expectations of being just a side corner Indian curry house, turned out be a high end quality restaurant with great service.
Definitely going to be a regular. Looking forward to try all the dishes on the menu.
Excellent Indian food lots of new dishes to choose from not found in other indian restaurants. Very polite and attentive staff. Bookings on weekends recommended as we had to wait for a table for 20 mins on saturday. Enjoyed the black dal, paneer labadar, Lamb chops, and a very different version of chicken tikka masala - as the staff pointed out the way they make in india - a little spicy. Loved it all. Highly recommended.
I'm from Texas, so I know meats, and I had probably one of the best lamb chops at this place! My wife is originally from Delhi, so we are sort of Indian food experts. This is the only Indian restaurant where we enjoyed every single thing we had. The service was friendly and the beer on tap was another bonus. Highly recommend.

Kashmir is one of the few truly authentic Indian restaurants in London, featuring the warmth of homely Indian hospitality. It has all the essentials plus many unique Kashmiri dishes which are hard to find in the UK. There were many vegetarian options and the service was able to cater for allergies.
This place is such a hidden gem in Putney. The service and staff were so friendly. The chef made some great recommendations for us and we enjoyed every single bite!!
It was quiet on the Thursday evening we went but I think it would be a great place for groups as it’s an intimate space with nice dim lighting.
The samosa chaat with tamarind & yoghurt sauce and the lamb ribs were my favourite starters (lotus root was also amazing!)
For mains my favourite was the black daal, chicken biryani & peshwari naan. My partner loved the lamb rogan josh and the coconut prawn curry!
It was a birthday treat and it really was a treat. we booked ahead but still arrived a bit late but they were completely fine with that, the people at the restaurant were welcoming,helpful and jolly, the food was absolutely divine I had the chicken biryani the rice was packed with flavour and the chicken was moist and they were big pieces of chicken. A perfect meal after a long day for traveling

As someone who's enjoyed Kashmiri cuisine on more or less a nightly basis for the better part of 2 decades, I feel somewhat confident in assessing Kashmir Restaurant. To put it simply: I would take my grandmother here.
Having been recommended the restaurant by a family friend, I rang ahead and asked if dum aloo and monj haakh - which are not on the menu - could be prepared. This request was accomodated and both dishes were made well: the dum aloos had been slowly fried, cooked well, with good penetration of the juices, while the monj haak would have stood its ground on any Kashmiri dining table. Other dishes such as the classic roganjosh, nadru aloo and choq wangun also impressed; meanwhile the gushtaba was an unexpected luxury. The kabargah and phirni (which they can make with either rice or semolina) bookended the meal superbly.
Overall, having been recently disappointed by another Kashmiri restaurant in Gurugaon that did not live up to its hype, it was refreshing to visit one that surpassed it.

I recently dined at this Indian restaurant and had a fantastic experience. After a long time, I found the authentic Indian flavors I’d been craving. The ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect mood for the evening.
The food was outstanding, from the varieties of Naan , lamb shank and paneer tikka, each dish was a masterpiece. The attentive staff made our experience even better with their recommendations and service.
