It was my first but definitely not my last visit. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Amerigo. A must try restaurant for Italian cuisine in Canary Wharf. The staff is also very warm, friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed my spinach Ravioli and profiteroles … 🫶

This is by far the best Italian restaurant in canary wharf, the food is just insanely good and the service is outstanding!

We have been to this restaurant multiple times, and me and my partner can say that this is our favorite restaurant. We feel always welcome and cozy. The food is simply too good to be described. John (especially) and all of his colleagues were absolutely amazing, and honestly this is why we come here every single time. We absolutely adore this place, and hopefully we’ll be back multiple times again! 100/10!!
Thank you guys ❤️

Dined at this lovely restaurant again this weekend. We made reservations and was given a nice corner table in the main dining room. I like that the tables were well spaced apart so we are not disturbed by other people's convos. The service is always attentive but not overbearing. As before, we ordered a lot of food. I ordered a pasta starter, pasta main, wine, and dessert. My boyfriend ordered 2 mains (pasta and meat), focaccia, wine, and espresso. Each course came out on time and piping hot! Food not served hot has always been my major pet peeze, but not at this restaurant! I was very happy! Everything we ordered was delicious as usual. Portion sizes are very good. We also never feel rushed. If you are looking for a very nice restaurant for a special meal, this is your place!

My partner and I have been here maybe 6 times and its a gem of a place, we have grown to recognise the staff and they are always so kind. The food is great and reasonably priced, some days its better than others but its never not good. I recommend getting the focaccia bread for table, the bruschetta or calamari to start and pesto pasta or gnocchi for main. We are yet to try the meat options as we call Amerigo our pasta place. Always a lovely experience!

If I could give this restaurant 6 stars I would.
My sister reserved this restaurant in the celebration of my graduation. We went in blind only relying on reviews we read prior, and I couldn’t be more happier that we did. From the moment me stepped in we were welcomed warmly into the restaurant. We had some starter’s and mains, we were so pleased with everything. The food is rich in taste and doesn’t lack anything. One of the best Italian restaurants I personally visited in London. We were very full so there wasn’t much room for dessert even though their menu options were delightful. As we asked for the bill, the wonderful waiters surprised me with a delicious complimentary dessert as a congratulations for my graduation. This generous act made my happy day even happier. The service was beyond wonderful, we had a couple of waiters coming to us, and each and every one was amazing, I felt like the staff was cheering for me as they were my family. I couldn’t get anyones name, but to the staff of this wonderful restaurant I just want to say a BIG THANK YOU.
Grazie per il tempo meraviglioso, lo apprezzo davvero!

Pretty much all of the restaurants in canary wharf are chains which is why I was so excited to try this place. In the summer this place is great for a drink by the wharf with an excellent selection of drinks. The pasta I tried was also amazing, the sauce was very tasty and it was also very good value for money which can be difficult to find in the area. I recommend the gnocchi! Staff were super friendly and proactive as well. I would recommend it to anyone wishing to try proper Italian food especially in an area with so many chain restaurants!

Just wow. Booked a meal here for 12 people and from the off the service from Ivan was exceptional. Funny, professional and so helpful (and patient!). We've all said we can't wait to go back. Oh ...and every single dish from all 12 of us, when down marvelously. Fantastic stuff!!

A Memorable Italian Culinary Journey at Amerigo Vespucci in Canary Wharf
During a long-awaited reunion with a dear friend in the heart of Canary Wharf, we decided to indulge in a delightful Italian lunch. After careful consideration, we chose Amerigo Vespucci, an Italian restaurant that captivated us with its warm hospitality and authentic flavors. From the moment we stepped in, the staff's welcoming nature and the incredible taste of their pasta made our experience truly exceptional. Here's a review of our memorable visit to Amerigo Vespucci.
Warm Hospitality and Authentic Ambience:
We were greeted with genuine warmth and charm by the restaurant staff upon arrival. One particular staff member caught our attention with his delightful Italian accent, setting the stage for an authentic Italian dining experience. The overall ambience of Amerigo Vespucci was cozy and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a pleasant meal and conversation.
Assistance with the Menu:
As someone unfamiliar with Italian cuisine beyond pasta, I candidly expressed my confusion to our server. The staff member was incredibly helpful, patiently guiding us through the menu and suggesting dishes. Their knowledge and willingness to assist made us feel comfortable and allowed us to make informed choices.
Exquisite Pasta Delights:
We opted for classic pasta dishes, with me choosing penne pasta with chicken and veggies, while my friend selected the tantalizing tortelloni al funghi selvatici. When our food arrived, the presentation was enticing, and the aromas were irresistible. As I savored my arrabbiata pasta, I was instantly transported to pasta heaven. The flavors were robust, the ingredients were fresh, and it was undoubtedly one of the best pasta dishes I had enjoyed in years. My friend's tortelloni al funghi selvatici was equally exceptional, receiving high praise for its rich and earthy flavors.
Delectable Dessert and Perfect Location:
To conclude our memorable meal, we decided to share a dessert—a delectable panna cotta with a delightful strawberry flavor. The dessert was a sweet ending to our Italian culinary journey at Amerigo Vespucci. Furthermore, the restaurant's ideal location, within walking distance from Canary Wharf station, made it easily accessible and a convenient choice for those in the area.
Overall Impression and Recommendation:
Our visit to Amerigo Vespucci left an indelible mark on our taste buds and hearts. The combination of warm hospitality, authentic flavors, and inviting ambience made it a truly remarkable dining experience. The staff's assistance with the menu and their genuine passion for Italian cuisine further enhanced our appreciation. We highly recommend Amerigo Vespucci to anyone seeking an authentic Italian culinary adventure in Canary Wharf.

Had dinner with a big group and one thing to note was the service was amazing! The waiters were great in sorting out all the different orders and making sure we had everything we needed.
The portions for the set menu dinner was huge, and each dish was cooked well. Overall I enjoyed it and would recommend big groups to dine here.
