What a great place to start my London food journey! They are 100% Vegan n a vegetarian. Getting inspired from Non vegetarian delicacies and reinventing it for vegetarians is a superb concept. I have never tasted chicken in my life just there chicken burger was so chewy and the texture just made be believe that I had chicken that day but a yummier version!
Limited menu but great food quality.
Will rate it a lil expensive for the quantity served.
Humble staff and very active.
The interiors had a pretty unique vibe.
My favourite dishes:
Mushroom Dumplings
Hummus n Pota bread
Chicken burger
These are the must have’s.
Try it and tell me if you liked the place too!!!
Amazing place . Very good presentation, the servings are filling , the staff is highly professional not to mention the prompt and punctual service as well. Highly recommended.
Amazing sandwiches and great coffee. Always my first port of call when I am in Soho. Highly recommended!
Expect to find seasonal and artistic American fare served up in a 10- to 12-course tasting menu, and as the name suggests, plenty of “amusements.” Don’t be surprised if you find yourself catching a bag of popcorn from a man dressed in a bright-yellow chicken suit.
This restaurant is a must try whenever in London, you have to have reservation before showing up there. For starters you must order the Korean fried chicken wings because it is something! We also ordered the chicken yakitori which was very well flavoured and done! From the flesh and buns section, we ordered the crispy duck leg, the grain-fed Sirloin steak and the Spatchcock chicken as we were 3 persons, all the 3 dishes were amazing and they come with interesting small sides of different kind of pickles, we ordered extra buns as they were super fresh. Don’t skip the chocolate fondant for dessert. I must say that the portions are not very generous. The ambiance is nice, it is an underground place, the service Wasn’t great, you struggle a bit to get the waiter, although when they do come, they are very professional and friendly.
I've been to Mildreds a few times and it always surprises me just how incredible the food is.
I'm not a vegetarian, but my goodness, it just goes to show how you DON'T need to eat meat when going out when the standard of food can be this good.
The staff are fantastic, super friendly and very accommodating and the cocktails were GORGEOUS!
It can be a little cramped in here but it is totally worth it. Couldn't recommend it enough.
What a buzzing Vegan restaurant. Insisting Vegan as they don’t even serve drinks with straws due to ethical reasons straws being plastic and bad for the environment etc.
Buzzing! I said that. Really busy. Trendy crowd. Nice atmosphere. Lovely just lovely.
Staff, amazing.
Cocktails yummii yummii Stuff hi hi always a great bonus see pictures.
Food of yea babe! Keep on serving. Got full though hopefully all veggie vegan things so yea heaven.
Terribly remiss of me forgot to thank my friend Bartosz for his company.
Mildreds is the best vegetarian restaurant I’ve been to anywhere in the world. Soon after I became vegetarian which was 11 years ago, I wasn’t sure what to cook, ideas, how... When I tried their food, it was the moment opened the door for vegetarian food ideas! Since then, I don’t know how many times I had been this restaurant. Always great food and great service and give me new ideas! I wish I live in London so that I can come here more often!
First time in the restaurant and everything was perfect. Service and food were perfect and the time spend there was amazing. We had to wait just 15min but in the meantime we had a cocktail so honestly, not something to define as too much.
The space is gorgeous, being the natural light my favourite part.
Perfect spot to have a casual lunch or dinner.
Totally recommend :)
While we did have a wait - it was well worth it. Very delicious food. For starters I had the gyoza dumplings and a delicious chickpea dish. Can't remember my main course dish. Had my first espresso martini here - so delicious. And my company enjoyed their meals too. Very friendly staff.
This is all-vegan restaurant consistently delivers wonderful food that keeps it bustling with patrons. Despite the crowds, the pleasant ambience adds to the dining experience. A must-visit for those seeking delectable vegan cuisine in a lively setting.
Lovely food, tasty cocktails! Nice atmosphere for a dinner or brunch with friends. Quite pricey but well, London is an expensive city! The menu is meat-free and quite versatile
Loved it. Good, service and atmosphere were excellent. Couldn’t recommend it enough. My meat eating boyfriend loved his meal and I loved mine.
Awesome awesome experience. Gorgeous location and ambience. Everything on the menu is delicious- we've tried a bunch over few visits.
Tiramisu is highly recommended. And the salted caramel Ice-cream.
My favorite vegan place in all of London.
My new favorite restaurant in London!! They have a tempting menu, and the food was incredible - so tasty and fresh🤤 The service was also fantastic, and our server was really helpful and fun. I absolutely recommend this place if you want to taste some amazing and unique vegan food, and have a good time🤌🏾
We loved everything about Mildred’s! Fantastic service and delicious food. We have been to other locations, but we love visiting this location in SoHo. We recommend making a reservation. They are usually packed at meals times. We ordered the new Italian appetizer platter and it was great. I ordered the mango “chicken” kabob and it was perfect. My daughter ordered the polenta and sausage and loved hers. Our waiter recommended the Passion Fruit Margarita and I enjoyed it. Always great. Every time I’m in London I try to have a meal at one of their restaurants. Love. Love. Love.
Mildreds is a staple of the London Vegan Scene. I can't believe I’m only writing a review of it now
We went to the branch in Soho before watching Les Mis and decided to just share a few of the small plates instead of having a big plate and some starters, as we would normally do.
You get to try a lot more things this way, and their small plates are delicious! Honestly, there wasn't anything we ate that I wouldn't order again, but there were definitely a couple of standouts that I hope they never take off the menu.
Topping the list is their Sweet Potato Leek Tortelloni, which comes with a lovely leek cream that is somehow both rich and smooth. Also amazing is their Whipped F'ta topped with roasted cherry tomatoes and oregano which is just perfect to dip their grilled pita on.
There's still so much on their menu that I haven't tried. I absolutely must go again soon!
🏅 Overall: 9.5/10
🌱 Fully Vegan
What we ate:
🥙 grilled pita
🥔 harissa patatas bravas
🧀 whipped f’ta 🌟
🍝 sweet potato leek tortelloni 🌟
🌮 chipotle cheez nachos ⭐️
Quite possibly the best pancakes I've had. Thick and fluffy, with a generous amount of blueberries within the batter mix, they were delicious and highly recommended.
Mildred's is a plant-based restaurant and is definitely worth a visit.
Very cute restaurant with delicious vegetarian and vegan options. We had the scrambled tofu bun and avocado toast for breakfast. The scrambled tofu is a bit spicy, so be careful. The avocado toast was very good!
We were on the ground floor for dinner. The food was good, well presented, satisfying. To be in Soho the price/quality ratio was good. The mains were a good size. We ordered 1 main each and 1 starter to share between 4. Maybe the ground floor is a little too cramped.
