Big wine bar/bistro, on several levels. Very pleasant and efficient service. Decent food and drink at Central London prices. Some live jazz on when we were in for Sunday lunch. I've been coming here for thirty years and it's always a reliable bet.

Delicious authentic Italian food, run by Italians. Loved the street cafe vibe and friendly Italian banter between the staff. We enjoyed what felt like a ten course meal. All in all, absolutely delicious. It's no fine dining experience but certainly soul satisfying, so much so that I came back twice in the span of two weeks.

Was recommended this lovely restaurant by a friend and it did not disappoint! The staff were great and the food was even better. In fact, the food was so good my friend and I sat in silence part of the time we were eating because the foot was THAT good. Drink was lovely as well. Really cool that from where I was sat I could see into the Jubilee market. I've been telling everyone abou this place! I don't go to London often, but when I do I most certainly will be back!

Amazing hosts running their restaurant with a lot of passion and really good food. We had brilliant salads, bruschetta, pizza (great fluffy 24h dough) and pasta with ragout and one with bolognese. Deserts and coffees were great as well! All really brilliant. And our kids were really welcome and happy! This is why we returned once more to this restaurant during our London holiday! The area around Covent Garden is lively and hence this is a good place to go anyway.

Ordered a tomato sauce pasta and a pesto pasta with burrata. Both dishes were cooked well, and kept us full for a while afterwards. Wasn’t the fan of the atmosphere/ambience, because the interior design of the place gave off some bistro vibes, so I was cautious to decide to stay and eat here. On the other hand, it seems like a small family-run place, and some people appreciate the simple and straightforward ambience/setup that comes with it.

A great find just behind Covent Garden Market on Tavistock Street, and a great option if you need a last minute table as often they have some spare tables for small groups (however booking is always recommended particularly in Covent Garden). The staff are very friendly, and they had a spare table outside for the three of us. The food is good - we had two pizzas which were delicious, and a salmon and courgette (zucchini) pasta, although I assumed the salmon pasta would come in a cream sauce, but instead it was a tomato sauce which was slightly odd and unexpected. It was okay, but I wouldn’t recommend that particular dish. The Quattro Stagione (Four seasons) pizza came with all the ‘seasons’ mixed up. I prefer it like this, but was a surprise to my guest! The pizzas, toppings and dough were all excellent. I have visited Prima Sapori multiple times and the food has always been very good, freshly made, and quick to serve - which is helpful if you need a quick bite before a theatre show or performance.

Nice Italian situated in Covent Garden. There are many pasta/ pizza/ salad choices available on the menu. Tastes just how you’d expect a decent Italian to taste. The restaurant ambiance is quiet and nice, with outdoor seating areas for the sunnier days. Staff are friendly but a bit slow to get the orders and to pay.

Very generous portion and price in the area! If you’re looking for an authentic italian place around the corner, this is where you should go! We ordered bruschetta nduja and goat cheese as antipasti - the spiciness of nduja was on point but might be too spicy for some. Bread was crunchy. For pasta, we had carbonara and tagliolino with pesto, burrata and sundried tomato. Love the al dente texture of the pasta! Both were very creamy and nicely seasoned. I personally prefer pesto one more as it’s more special and the carbonara is a bit too yolky for my taste. Overall a very pleasant experience and definitively recommend!

A very very good experience here on Saturday evening. We hadn’t booked but they managed to fit us in and outdoor seating too! The service was amazing, quick and friendly. The food was also unreal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re visiting the area on a nice day.
