I just came for a drink. Fun decor, the upstairs had a totally different vibe from the downstairs which was fun (I preferred it downstairs). It really does feel like you are in a ship downstairs. Toilets need better attention but are otherwise nice. Staff seemed friendly even though rather than tell me they didn’t have pear cider, they just opened a kiwi cider and expected me to pay for it. Fun spot for a drink.

Came here during the weekend before the Buffalo Bills game. The atmosphere was great and the workers did an amazing job with serving the huge (and sometimes intense) crowd. There were rooms in the basement and an upstairs seating area as well where it was possible to order food. They had a large amount of beers on tap.

We enjoyed our evening meal at The Admirality during our weekend visit to London! The food was nice, our service by Mathu (our main server) and Raskeed was great, and the nautical interior and lively, comfortable atmostphere was a stand-out. Thank you again Mathu and Raskeed for serving us and being so helpful!

Perfectly positioned for some casual Trafalgar Square dining and drinking, with friendly staff and quick service. Fish & chips was large and tasty, with a decent pint of London Pride to wash it down. They really should have a word with whoever painted the compass on the ceiling though 🤣

Gorgeous historic place with decor during Admiral Nelson's time. We ate upstairs and had fish and chips. It was incredible with lager beer. If you are looking for the perfect fish and chips, this is it! The service is outstanding even though it is so busy. Great location in Trafalgar Square. We loved it visiting from USA!!

This place was incredible. The food was delicious, I highly recommend the mini pie plate dinner for two people. It was extremely good. The best part was our service. Nicki was incredible. She went so far above and beyond to help make our experience awesome. I can't recommend this place enough.

Very nice to sit, it’s like an old boat theme. Recommend the Pim cocktail with gin was super nice and not strong taste. We also had the sharing pudding was delicious.

🚇Charing Cross
🍺 £6.30 Amstel
❤️ A beautifully restored shipwreck.
.
The Admiralty is London's most central pub, being just 50 metres from the King Charles I statue from which all distances from the capital are measured. The nearest tube is Charing Cross.
.
This beautiful building was constructed in 1871 and is Grade II listed. The building started life as a NatWest bank and only became a pub in 2014, acquired by @fullers. In July 2022 the building was ravaged by fire and after an extensive renovation reopened in April this year.
.
This is a good size pub which is set out over three levels. The decor here is inspired by HMS Victory at the battle of Trafalgar, the murals on the walls of HMS Victory are simply stunning. To left of the impressive servery is a splendid ship’s figurehead that wouldn’t look out of place on the old warship docked today in Portsmouth. The seating is plentiful, there are lots of low level, booths and poser tables to settle in to. There are so many details here that are easy on the eye, this is such a handsome boozer.
.
There is an extensive range of beers, the line up included eight cask ales and fifteen keg. We decided on a couple pints of Amstel, our pints weren’t overly lively but hit the spot all the same. The food menu is hearty elevated pub classics with an emphasis on pies, Fish & Chips costs £18.95.
.
The pub opens its doors at 9am for breakfast and starts serving alcohol from 10am. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the vibe upbeat. The crowd was predominantly day trippers and tourists with majority here for a bite to eat. We sat at a poser table and we were joined by two mature ladies from Florida who were looking for somewhere to sit, we exchanged a few pleasantries and recommended they visit the Aylesbury Estate in south London to admire the architecture, we didn’t really 😀. The service is on point and very courteous.
.
The @admiratylondon is undoubtedly a beautiful boozer which offers a premium pub experience. I would definitely recommend a visit here but choose your time of visit wisely, this is a very busy pub.

We booked this for lunch the day after the Coronation, and were welcomed as we entered. The décor really makes the interior interesting without being overly done. Prices for drinks ad food generally on par with everywhere else nowadays but service must be improved as we waited overly long for drinks and food and it was only about a third capacity. We were in no rush which was fine but some improved communications between staff and diners should be improved if waiting times are going to be long.
Having said that when the food did arrive it was great, we were a group of seven and everyone's dish was to the same standard. All cooked and presented very well. A decent choice of desserts for those that fancied something else. All in all, a nice meal and would give it another chance when in the area.

The Admiralty has finally reopened and I believe the opening night was a great success!
I have booked a table for 4 people however the restaurant was not able to locate my reservation( in the end only two of us came that night!). Luckily they have given me a chance to have a look around and find a table. Even though, they were very busy as it was an opening night, we were able to find a lovely table upstairs in a dining area. I hope the issues with the reservations will be rectified going forward.
The interior of the pub was absolutely stunning and possibly even an improvement of what it used to look like before! It is a lovely place to spend some time for drinks and food.
We decided to go for fish and chips and vegetarian Wellington ( pictures attached). These were so delicious! We both really enjoyed our food. The food is on the pricier side but it is certainly worth it!
Moreover, service in the dining area upstairs was exceptional. The lady was so welcoming and checked up on us multiple times if we wanted more drinks/food.
The bar had a great selection of drinks.
Overall, we both really enjoyed our visit. Since reopening, the Admiralty has become even better and I will certainly be paying a visit to them again.
