The food is really fresh and well presented! I chose the gluten free option of parmigiana pizza and it was absolutely delicious.
It's a short walk from the Imperial War Museum and really worth it compared with what's on offer there.
The service is ridiculously quick and super friendly.
Fantastic service from really friendly attentive waiting staff. The waitresses were so smiley and warm. A menu filled with classic Italian dishes. Nothing exotic, just really well-cooked meals with great ingredients and the pasta is absolutely perfect. A real Italian restaurant...only in Kennington/Lambeth! I have to mention that they have fresh cut flowers on every table which is a lovely touch and much appreciated. Every meal was wonderful. We didn't try the dessert but they looked great. I don't find criticism unless I have to but I would only say that some nice music would have been preferable to Magic FM, particularly when we were drinking delicious wine whilst listening to a news bulletin about Iran shooting down a passenger jet. One small negative on an otherwise perfect evening. X
I really enjoyed the food, but even more I enjoyed the atmosphere. Looks like this is small business and the owner is doing everything to make everyone happy. Other staff very welcoming.
By looking from the outside the street, it is not looking so welcoming... but now I now that it was GOOD CHOICE to get it. It is bright inside, so you can see what you eat, not like is some other places.
Place is clean. Tables are clean. It is just well looked after.
Prices ? Normal as for London, but as “extra” you can feel that no one is not playing the game and smile “because of boss said that”. They are really showing happiness and make you feel warm. Maybe beer is little bit overpriced... I loved spagetti.
It's a great place, great food but service is very slow, short in staff. If only he can hire one more person, enjoy
The pizza was great, good service, reasonably priced. The tables are comfy and the ambient is very nice. Only downside is the limited options.
Good meals, lovely efficient staff, love the desserts, atmosphere was cosy.
A lovely, family-run place with a simple but wide menu of great food that’s clearly homemade. Good coffee and fresh juices. Really helpful with my mum’s dairy allergy too. Fantastic service and great with children. Would recommend!
Only found this by chance as we googled restaurants nearby, wasn't going to go back to the Hard Rock as it was a real let down. Staying in London for 4 nights and this came up on Google, so we thought as it was only 200ft away we would try it out. Excellent menu with excellent food at a good price. The overall impression was this was an honest place to eat, good food, well made and well priced, staff (I think may have been the owners) were great. Excellent place to eat.
We passed by and found the restaurant pretty clean and decent. The menu pretty simple but good. It offered good, causal and authentic Italian food. Overall, the price pretty reasonable and service quite attentive. I would recommend to check this out if you stay in the area.
I went to Riverside last week. Very clean and located in convenient location. It's a fine dining experience at the cost of regular dining. Very professional service and delivered food on time. No wait, no hassle, no petty excuses.
I had a Salmon pasta for lunch which was well cooked, full of sauce and smooth. There were other more delicious options as well. If you're in London and a fan of Italian food, make sure to try this place out.
Great quality and service with a very reasonable price for London. Selection is great along with the staff. Chose the restaurant due to the convenient location to the Imperial War Museum. Though the atmosphere of the restaurant seemed local and friendly. Will be returning when we next go through the area :-) Thanks
