Punjab Restaurant - London - Photo album

Authentic North Indian food at Camden area - service is good, the server arranged seating in a more quiet area for us to enjoy our dinner (away from the noisy side). Food is tasty and not oily/overly thick gravy. Chicken Tikka on fire display is a first I have experienced - really enjoy the experien
A London institution and reliable option in the center of town. Punjab has been around for ages and for good reason - the food is consistent and comforting, service is no nonsense, and you know what you’re going to get. I guess that’s also the restaurant’s downfall - nothing is really outstanding, a
Mind blowing food. We were in London for leisure and went to Punjab for our lunch on the two days we were there. We tried their specialities - Kali dal, Paneer Butter masala, Achari Gosht and Amristari Chhole as main dishes and the taste was extraordinary. On top of it, the best tandoori roti I have
This is not my first visit but this time I will only give 4 stars as it could be my bad experience, first time ever I felt that food didn’t taste the same.,, explanation by the manager wasn’t very convincing starters I am taking point out and chole wasn’t cooked at all chole was like stone,,, but ti
Been here before and so wanted to comeback! Food is really good ,the prices are really decent so I strongly recommend the restaurant. Went with a friend for dinner before theatre and it was worth it,the prawn biryani and a side veggie dish was delicious and filling!
The place is good and also has some great reviews. We ordered starters and they were just amazing. We loved the pakoras and the samosas. They are really worth trying. However the main curries weren't as good as expected. The Nan was good. The service from the staff was good. But the staff came too f
It was on my list of "things to do in London", to eat at an Indian restaurant and I think I found the best one! The food was absolutely amazing, a lot of vegan options like always in Indian restaurants and a really professional service. Another pleasant surprise were the prices! Really good prices
Cosy restaurant. Was seated quite quickly despite the place being full. The staff were very attentive and provided good recommendations. I thoroughly enjoyed the butter chicken, nann and rice which were prepared traditionally. The owner was sitting at the table next to me and took the time to come a
Probably the most authentic Indian restaurant in London. Ordered the lamb biryani and the meat was so tender and portion was good. Butter chicken was on the bone and was succulent.
I do love my Indian, and this one is in my top 2 favourite spots for a classical Indian in London. Their butter chicken is great. We ordered 3 curries for 2 of us and it was the right amount. 2 curries would have left us on the hungry side.
Indian restaurant in the heart of London serving authentic Indian , Punjabi and Pakistani , Sindhi dishes . . Service was very quick and the atmosphere inside was great. Food in my palate was mediocre. I’ve had better flavourful Indian food elsewhere. I ordered Achari Murgh and I couldn’t get that A
The food was tasty and I loved their service. The person who served us was very quick and he has a different swag in serving food. I was just looking at his speed of doing work until my food arrives. I asked his name when I was about leave after completing my dinner and his name is Santana. Good job
Great authentic flavours Spacing is quite cramped so be prepared Staff are friendly but took a long time to get seating and people were queuing to eat even at 9pm Food was delicious and came out quite quickly Ordered many things: pakoras, amristir fish, mixed grill, methi gosht, prawn biriyani, chic
WOW what a place, looks like it used to be an old pub. We did a walk-in midweek round 8pm, the place was full, would suggest booking a table. The greeter was very helpful and found us a table very quick, staff gave us ample time to look over the menu and answered a number of questions we had. The fo
Fantastic food. One of the best Indian curries I've ever had.
My colleague and I stopped in for some lunch. The starters could have been a little more flavoursome but they were nicely cooked and I'm a big fan of sizzling onions. The main dishes we had were spot on, we had Karahi Chicken which was hot and spicy and some Saag Aloo. I haven't been for over 15 y
Excellent Indian restaurant. The food is great and there's a huge range of choices. The setting is really cosy and traditional. Staff are friendly and attentive. Very reasonably priced for this part of London.
Absolutely delicious! Food is great perfectly prepared, flavorful and tasty! Service is very good, very friendly and attentive. Ambience is nice with nice tables and great setting. The food took a little while to arrive but I think it is because was made to order. When we left at 8pm there was a big
