Came here for dinner with some friends on a Tuesday night. We had made a reservation prior and it was a good shout as the restaurant got filled up after 7pm. One of my friends came quite late so the rest of us decided to order the mixed mezze platter to start while waiting for the last one to come. The platter came with hummus, falafels, cheese sambousek, meat kibble, vine leaves and tabbouleh. For the price of £15.95, it was a good portion for the 3 of us to share and the food quality was there. Although it's an Egyptian place, it's definitely more of a fusion menu they have since this platter is Lebanese and they do state that in their menu. Just to say don't expect this place to sell only Egyptian food as they also have Indian dishes on their menu. For mains, I ordered the kofta skewers for myself. It's a massive portion with 3 skewers of minced lamb which was nicely marinated and chargrilled and came with lots of flavours. The rice itself was also cooked with some spices which went really well with the meat. My friends enjoyed their food as well. But overall, I wouldn't say the food quality was outstanding. It's good for what it's worth but not exceptional that makes me want to come back. Service was good, friendly and attentive waiters. They played some Egyptian music on a massive TV in the background which was frankly quite loud and so it made it hard for us to chat and talk comfortably. This is where it lost a star for the atmosphere.

Best Arabic food we have ever tasted in the UK and a meal we will never forget. Highly recommend this place, you will not regret it. Every meal we ordered was so tasty and delicious that we continued eating until we completely filled our tummies. Service by all staff was very impressive and we were so looked after by Mohamed. Lovely ambience and music and we felt so comfortable and well nourished. Thank you and we will no doubt return again when back in London.

The food was really nice. Had the foul mudamas and hawashy al basha for starters. Nicely spiced and flavoursome. For mains had the Koshary, which was very good. The spicy sauce just elevated it all. The mint lemonade was refreshing. Mohammed Issa our server was so nice and provided excellent service. Would recommend.

I visited this Egyptian restaurant and have to say, was blown away by the incredible flavors and diverse selection of dishes! From the first bite I knew that the food was going to be something special. The waiter was also a standout. He was friendly and provided excellent recommendations. He also explained that we could share meals, which allowed us to try a variety of different plates. I highly recommend!

This was a brilliant spot for lunch that we picked randomly but ended up a huge success. ❤️❤️ The food was absolutely amazing. Tbh, it's a little bit overpriced but the taste is worth it 💯. I loooove their stuffed falafel and the pita bread they offer is so fresh and warm. They also served us more bread for no extra cost. We also tried their kofta which was 120/10. It's the original taste that I have been missing for a loooong time. The fries were tasty as well with some sort of spices on them that took the taste to a whole new world. OK, let's now talk about the chicken burger 🍔! I am not a huge fan of burgers in first place, but I has to finish this till the last bite. It is so rare to find a tasty chicken burger where the meat is not that tough, but thisbone was grilled and still juicy. They also serve tea with Na3na3. That was about the food, which is the main reason why we would come back. But the atmosphere and the staff were very nice and friendly, especially the middle aged gentleman who was very attentive and serving us with passion that have not seen in a while in dine in restaurants. There bathroom was clean and enough room. They have an awesome music taste. Guys, just keep it up and I will always come back when in london.

I was in the area and this was open until late so we popped in for desert and tea. The service was great, the staff were friendly and plenty of things on their menu. We tried few of the desert menu, OM Ali which like a bread pudding, it was nice and the Kunafe was different to the usual Turkish or Middle Eastern style but it was still good. Their Karak Chai was very nice. I’m hoping to com back again and try other stuff on the menu, it looks good.

HIGHLY recommend Al Basha! Came here for a Ramadan Iftar and they did not disappoint! The food was incredible, and didn’t take long to come out from when it was ordered, the venue itself is very nice and fitting of its Knightsbridge location, and the staff was incredibly friendly. To top it all off, the food was incredibly filling and the dessert was the icing on the cake. Would definitely return, Alf shokr!

I loved being here!! Hands down the best middle eastern restaurant in London in my opinion! We ordered three meals and they were all very good, also two bottles of water and one coca cola. The service was one of the best ever, they were all very friendly and nice with us! I loved the Egyptian atmosphere all over there, there was also music and this is something i really appreciated. In total we spent £66 and i don’t regret it! If i will come back to london,i will definitely come here again.

I stopped here for breakfast and was very happy with both the service and the food. I had the Kima with their house special bread, dish was full of flavour and not badly priced too considering the central Knightsbridge location.

Walked in this wonderful Egyptian Brasserie and I was blown away by the food and the service was top notch. The restaurant manager offered us a wonderful hospitality and had a great customer service experience. I ordered the Mombar (Sheep’s casing stuffed with Rice) which tasted great since it was my first time and I was starving it was okay, I liked it. But I was blown away with the Fattoush, Ful Medames (Broad Beans Mash) with the pita bread. So damn succulent! Not to forget when I dipped the Kibbeh in the Ful Medames - it was heavenly especially with the right squeeze of the lime. Delicious! Not to mention, quite a boutique-style restaurant. The wall is adorned with Egyptian portraits of film actor/actresses and daily lives of people of Egypt. It had a nice homely touch. Would definitely visit here again for the dessert, shisha and Arabian coffee since I was really stuffed with the delicate food on tonight’s dinner. Overall, its fairly cheap eats in this opulent and affluent part of London - actually it’s a bargain banger compared to the restaurant situated opposite, NUSR-ET! (SaltBae Restaurant). Worth every penny coming to Al Basha! Expected to pay £25-50 pp depending what you choose in the menu.
