Roaming around London and stumbling upon a Asian joint I seldom expect a decent gastronomic experience as has come about from my experience from tasting foreign food in this country.
But this one serving chinese and Philippino is literally a hidden gem ! The Philipino dishes were too good to be true... the noodles the chicken teriyaki.. unexpectedly beautiful.

If you haven't tried Filipino food yet then I advise you to stop reading this and go find some! It seems to me that Filipinos are vastly underrepresented restaurant-wise considering how many live in and around the capital. And believe me, once you've tried their food you'll be as upset about this as I am! It may not be the healthiest cuisine in the world but my word is it tasty! Filipinos are unabashed carnivores luckily for me and pork is a particular favourite. If you visit Cirilo I heartily recommend the sizzling pork sisig, words can't do this dish justice, it needs to be tasted. I've never had a bad sisig and I've eaten a lot of it believe me! My wife is from the Philippines herself and we make sure to visit at least once a year so let me tell you, while this restaurant is located in London, it comes as close to delivering the authentic taste of the dishes as it possibly can. The restaurant itself is a bit on the small side and not exactly in the most convenient of locations and we were slightly disappointed that on our visit we were not able to order our favourite dessert (halo-halo) but the lovely staff informed us that next time we should call ahead and ask them to make some for us! Typical awesome Filipino hospitality. If you're not the adventurous type when it comes to food they also have on their menu plenty of classic oriental favourites such as spring rolls, aromatic crispy duck, chow mein and udon noodles. But if I were you I'd give the Pinoys a chance to impress you. Verdict: masarap!

Popped in here before going to Wilton’s Music Hall last night. We were in a big rush (late again!) so ordered a noodle dish each and wolfed it down in just a few minutes. Such a crime because it was absolutely delicious; great tasting, quality ingredients, really fresh. My husband said they were the best Singapore Noodles he’s ever had. We are definitely coming back, to take our time and savour the food, as it deserves. I can’t wait. The staff were delightful too.

My first experience trying Filipino food, and I'm honestly lost for words. The food was seasoned and presented beautifully, service was phenomenal, and the vibe was so chill and cosy. Definitely coming back xx

An authentic south East Asian experience in east london. Warm service and good portions of food will stand you very well. Sisig and friend sea bass are the real star dishes. Will come again.

Food is absolutely amazing👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. We got lucky when we visited it yesterday bcoz Crispy Pata (in the picture) is available (you won’t see it in the menu) so had to try it, and did not disappoint. Pancit Bihon is also good, a little bit different from traditional one but it taste and look upscale. Bonus - Filipino owners/chef are so welcoming. They let us in even before their official opening hours. Thank you po!

Gorgeous food. The Kare-kare was the special highlight for us - the aubergine was grilled and caramelised to perfection.

The Filipino foods are really tasty, the serving is just right and service is also in time, although the place is not too spacious but it is clean and well maintained.
