Le Cafe Du Marche - London - Photo album

We were served by Giuseppe who was absolutely great. He was very attentive and catered to our desired experience. The food was lovely and Giuseppe was able to help recommend different dishes whilst being patient as we were indecisive! The atmosphere was also a perfect balance between classy and laid
The Monk fish and ratatouille was wonderfully cooked. So delicate and deliciously French. The dark wood decor does make the place rather dark even during the light evenings so if you enjoy a dark atmospheric candle lit dinner, this will be the place. There was live piano music but the hard wooden
I love this restaurant and came to find out about it through photographing a wedding there in 2021. The couple had hired the upstairs of the restaurant and it worked so well for their wedding of 30 people. They had the meal (the food was delicious) and then danced in the evening. Such a cool place!
Had an amazing lunch here. It has a traditional French vibe and coupled with the amazing food, it feels very authentic. I recommend the squid risotto with black ink as a starter. It's so nice, almost melting in your mouth, and with a very subtle garlic flavor that's oh-so-French! The duck main is
Took my French friend to this beautiful restaurant tucked in a lovely mews in Charterhouse Square and we both loved it. What’s not to love. Beautiful romantic ambience, dim lights and candle lit tables in traditional French decor style, live Piano music / and jazz. Staff very friendly, professional
Excellent bistro with a set menu that blends traditional with some innovation around fresh ingredients, plus a well curated wine list. A big added bonus was the excellent jazz duo (see video).
Service was great - the staff are really attentive and anticipate your needs while dining. However the food could be improved. For example, the crème brûlée had a thick layer of caramelised sugar on top - too thick actually, so it felt like eating hard candy on top of the custard. The mains were be
Cozy atmosphere and authentic French cuisine. The lamb rack for two is so tender that it melts with very little chewing needed. Not too salty or oily. I will come back again.
Had the loveliest dinner here. The food was so fresh and tasty. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had some great live music. The restaurent is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Would definitely recommend.
Have been going to this restaurant for many years with a group of ladies. Food always excellent and staff unfailingly polite and efficient. Love the upstairs dining room where we are able to chat without other diners around
Very atmospheric little restaurant set in a Georgian building off Charterhouse Sq. The menu is limited, but the food was delicious. Service was excellent, with the added bonus of a discreet piano player. I would definitely visit again.
Wonderful dinner here. Had the rabbit dish and wife had the fish. Everything was made perfectly. Staff was nice and accommodated us despite being late to reservation.
We held our wedding reception in the upstairs restaurant in May. From the very first conversation with Emilie to the end of our reception Emilie was just amazing. The food, wine and service was wonderful too. We had a fantastic time so thank you Emilie and your team.
Traditional French bistro with great food, good service and nice wine. Welcoming, buzzy and relaxed, you will enjoy your time here. Very good value for money. Has a loyal and justified following.
Great food and ambiance. We had the beef to share and it was absolutely delicious. The service was attentive, with live piano music. Feel like the price is fair, will definitely come back.
What a lovely French restaurant, it is off the beaten but well worth a visit. We went for a relative's birthday and so glad we did. First plus point, little dogs are welcome. Second plus point, the servers are friendly, attentive and I genuinely believe they wanted to please us. Which they did! I
Gorgeous and rustic looking French restaurant only minutes away from historic Smithfield Market in Barbican/Farringdon. Perfect for date night and special occasions such as weddings. Upstairs can be hired for private events. Food, needless to say, is excellent - hearty rustic French haute cuisine.
