Albeit small cafe, it is a very friendly environment with good service. One of the staff members remembered the coffee I had from the second time I went there which I thought was lovely. It is reasonably priced and offers great coffee, breakfast dishes and deserts too, theres also some vegan options.

Really nice and honest food. Good an friendly service. Can get a bit crowded. I wouldn’t recommend if you are in a hurry. Don’t understand why the rate is 3.2 as no review gives less than 4...
Have been coming here on and off since 2010 and always dependable - good, honest food, big portions. A large breakfast menu (the Whole Works is massive and includes kippers) is ideal for weekend brunch, but also do a great selection of jacket potatoes, sandwiches, toasted ciabatta, salads, lunches etc. A great little cafe, always look forward to popping in when we return to Greenwich.
The best cafe I have been to and my favourite place to eat brunch in Greenwich. The salad is the best ever (try it) and the breakfasts are huge, tasty and well worth the money. My personal favourite are the waffles which could feed two. Would recommend this cafe to everyone. Double thumbs up!
Really happy with The Green Cafe. Great menu, great service, great food, great feel. I asked if I could move in and live there.

Fantastic cakes. Nice teas. Pleasant staff. Ideal place to go after the long walk in Greenwich. Located quite near the Greenwich observatory.
I stayed in Greenwich for 2 nights and after eating here for breakfast on day 1 I couldn’t go anywhere else on day 2! Don’t worry about Bills around the corner - they’re everywhere - when in Greenwich brekkie here is a must 👌🏼
Nice place for food and a coffee, but it can get busy at lunchtime. My lunch was delicious but there was only one staff member so it took a little while. Having said that, staff was really friendly!
Breakfast here was amazing. The Vegetarian and the Black Pudding Benedict was sublime! Staff were super friendly and happy, smoothies were tasty too! Great way to start a day with good food
Perfect place for breakfast or brunch in Greenwich. It's not a touristy place, which is really good! We had a perfect English Breakfast and an English Muffin with egg and bacon. Everything was perfect! We finished with a simply impeccable Sicilian lemon cake! Very attentive service from the staff. I will definitely be back on my next visit to London!

We visited for brunch on Thursday 3rd August 2023, whilst visiting Greenwich for the day. The Green Cafe has a nice menu and is very convenient for the railway station, so we decided to give it a try. We were very pleased because the food and drinks were really nice and the service was good too.
We particularly enjoyed the tumeric latte with CBD, the peashoot latte and the vegan panini that I had.
Would certainly visit again and recommend.

Lovely breakfast! The Vegetarian and Mediterranean breakfast were both delicious. The favourite was the Vegetarian option, however this is purely down to preference. The oat flat white was perfect; great depth to the coffee and the temperature was spot on. Further, the kale smoothie was very delicious.
Lastly, the service was great. Prompt and friendly. I do recommend a visit - the selection of items are very good and I am certain there is something for everyone.
Walked past on my way to work and saw the most delicious-looking bread pudding. Paused but I kept on walking. I came back at lunchtime still thinking about it so picked a slice up for later. I got my partner some lemon drizzle cake too. £8 was expensive for 2 pieces of cake but I took them home for tea and my pudding was simply delicious. My partner thought the drizzle cake was tasty but not especially lemony but still asked for more next time I walked past it (unusual so must have been good). A day later and now I’m still thinking about the bread pudding. It was sweet, included both chocolate and raisins, and I think it was the best bread pudding I’ve ever had and I’m a little sad I have to wait until next Tuesday to see if they do it again. <3
