Very tasty food, coffee, and great prices! I always take visiting colleagues here for lunch and they love it
Awesome Indian food . Excellent, prepared freshly and served with a very nice and professional staff not to mention the highly prompt and punctual service as well.
One of the few fine dining Indian restaurants in London with great quality food and ambience. Would highly recommend their mutton chops!
Amazing place in London. I love the food. can’t wait to come back here again. Congratulations to the staff.
Veeraswamy is said to be the first ever Indian restaurant in the UK. It is a great place for fine dining. Food was delicious and well presented. They have a business lunch menu which is a great option with many choices. Dessert was a bit of a letdown. Definitely worth trying if you haven't been here!
I went there during Christmas time when regent street is all decked up and got a window side table which had one of the best view that I have seen. The food is really good and service is also fast, they offer normal food but have a distinctive taste which makes it special
Ate there a few days before Christmas. Was sat at a table overlooking Regents Street. Fantastic views. Food was excellent, distinctive yet familiar dishes and flavours. Impressive location, friendly staff, great food.
A historic and posh place and a worthy recipient of a Michelin star. I liked the place.
Make it a point reserve in advance. I ordered the indian thali. They did not have the amrut fusion in stock which was a shame, because it would have gone perfectly with the food. Recommended.
Very nice food...but the person at the front desk was way arrogant.....the manager from Goa was very nice but that Indian guy may be Bengali was very very arrogant and didn't knew how to speak to customers
One of the best indian dine restaurant.ambiance of the place excellent .I ordered amritseri chop which is really good.its perfect place to dine out..
We dined on a Sunday evening and the place was full so booking is definitely recommended. The restaurant is located upstairs (there is a lift) and has a really homely atmosphere. Staff were really friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. We opted for the tasting menu which was £75 pp (all table needs to have this) which for a Michelin star restaurant I think is reasonable. Food was outstanding, every course was delicious and the portions were perfectly sized. Rice and naan breads are plentiful and they are happy to bring more if required. Highly recommended
Went here to celebrate our anniversary. Amazing experience and super delicious food. We got the tasting menu which was very filling and delicious.
The highlight was the chicken Tikka starter - which even though I've had it a million times at various places - this one was the most tender and flavorful chicken I've ever had.
Will come back for sure.
Five stars just for the fact that the chicken has saffron in it, an incredibly rare find when so many other restaurants claim to use the ingredient without actually doing so. Service was good and friendly and I dug their take on gulab jamun as well 👍🏽
This is the real deal. Incredibly friendly service. You really feel taken care of and at home.
Astonishing dishes filled with flavor. Variety and subtlety. Layers. Not just heat.
A family atmosphere filled with warmth and smiles.
As someone who is Indian and travelled to india on numerous occasions. I was fed up of going to going to all the “Gourmet” Indian restaurants in London that classify themselves as authentic but just do not hit the spot.
Finally, after visiting Veeraswamy, I can highly recommend a fine dining Indian restaurant that lives up to its standards.
The food was nicely presented, with decent portion sizes, amazing traditional flavours with good service.
Prices are high, but that’s what is expected from a place like this. The taste lives up to the standards.
I would highly recommend the Chicken Makhani Au Vin, and the Non Veg Platter.
What a fantastic gem of a place. Went here for my 50th birthday before a trip to the theatre. The food was outstanding and the staff absolutely fabulous. Only negative was that we didn't have time to stay longer. Will definitely return should we visit London again! highly recommend
Wine Pairing Price = $56 (45 British pounds)
Retail Value = $12
Markup = 480%
There were 4 glasses paired with the meal. It's lovely that the restaurant will print on the menu what they are in advance. Generally, the retail cost the bottles was $27, except the rosé appears to be exceptionally cheap under $10. None of the wines were exceptional, but they all paired well with the meal and wer nice sized pours (probably 3.5 ounces).
The food was so delicious. I loved every bit of it. Service was great as well as the ambiance.
I would definitely return, but get a bottle of something or go by the glass.
Amazing food with a well-manicured menu. The service could be better, but it was definitely Michelin-worthy. Would highly recommend this for anyone’s first exposure to Indian cuisine in London. Ask for a window seat!
Have you ever had a meal that was so incredibly moving, you cried? The emotions that the food here illicit are undeniably powerful. If I could give this culinary kingdom more stars, I would! Everything I had was beyond words. Go, just GO!
In London, you can find one of the best Indian cuisine experiences at this restaurant, which has been awarded a Michelin star.
Wonderful flavors make it a must-visit.
