Delicious food, great service and reasonable prices! Will definitely visit again. The ambience was also quite nice.

The Go-To place when running on Empty and nothing will do but to binge on pizza by the meter accommodating the mix and match tastes of your partner with different selections along the munching trail.  Served by tolerant staff accustomed to such excess. Yes!

I set off into central London late yesterday afternoon for another evening of food and theatre. These are two of my great passions: good food and good theatre. I love taking advantage of all London has to offer culturally and regularly go to art exhibitions and cinema, but for me there really isn’t anything like the excitement of great live theatre: a fantastic play with an awe inspiring and brilliant cast. And last night’s theatre promised just that: Eugene O’Neill’s classic play, Long Day’s Journey into Night, starring Jeremy Irons and Lesley Manville, two of our finest actors. The play has only recently opened and has been gathering wonderful reviews – ‘an unmissable masterpiece’ (Independent) – so I was very much looking forward to it. But at three and a half hours long with just one 15-minute interval, my friend Louise and I were definitely going to be in need of sustenance before taking our seats at Wyndham’s Theatre. I therefore did a quick search of restaurants nearby, thinking it would be nice to find somewhere new. I also wanted to eat close to the theatre; it’s not fun to eat a meal and then be in a rush to make it to curtain-up time or have a long walk to reach the theatre. I was pleased to discover Sartori, an Italian restaurant, just round the corner, barely a couple of minutes walk away, so booked a table there to catch their pre-theatre menu, which finishes at 6.00pm. Pre-theatre menus are great. I don’t really want to spend lots of money on a quick meal before going to the theatre; neither do I want to eat lots and drink much wine and risk feeling sleepy during the play. But food and a glass of wine first was definitely needed, not to mention time to talk to my friend and catch up on our news.

Really good Italian. Food is great but the service is incredible. The staff is helpful and quick, and they accommodated a table of 15 paying each their own. Can't praise enough that flexibility we were given.

You have a lot of places to eat pizza in London, but inly a few have the quality of this place. Good pizza made in firewood oven. Tasty and full of fresh ingredients. The amazing thing is that you order the pizza by length and you can mix different flavours along the pizza. You have other treats over there but let me highlight the Mussels in tomato sauce! Please order as a starter!

Excellent service and excellent food quality... Nice and cozy place near Piccadilly Circus. Salmon filet was good with shrimps and mayo, a bit heavy. Pizza Dough is great.

Woodfired Pizza and the delectable La Paste, add a brilliant red wine and a decent crowded ambiance. What else so you ask for on a cold evening?! Your taste buds will be satisfied to the tee and you'd not have to wait too long before you forget all the hassles and simply dig your fingers in the soft delicious Pizza! Go for it. Worth the experience.

My friends and I had an early dinner at Sartori, which is situated in theatreland; we had a table reserved. I was grateful for the air con as it was a very humid evening!

Sartori have a wide and varied menu; however I went for my standard main meal (lasagne), which was fine. However I couldn’t help but notice the Pizza al Metro that other tables were ordering and felt that maybe I should have switched up from my usual order…..

My friends had the Linguine Gamberoni & Cozzi and Le Pizza Rucola. They were satisfied with their meals and they did look appetising. I finished my meal with what supposed to be an apple cake, but when it arrived it looked more like an apple tart. Either way it tasted nice (I just wished there was a bit more!). Our meal was affordable, working out to be about £23pp, including drinks (we didn’t consume alcohol).

The service was fast and professional; given how packed it was, such was a plus. Even when we were leaving there was a queue of people waiting to be seated.
There was a great buzz in the restaurant; very positive, but beware that you may have to speak loudly/shout to be heard during your convo!

If I visit again with friends I will endeavour to try out the Pizza al Metro.

My experience at Sartoti was marked by tasty food and an exceptionally friendly staff. They truly made the dining experience enjoyable. However, the atmosphere was a bit underwhelming, lacking any special decor. Despite this, the warm service and flavorful food made it a pleasant visit overall.

We came here for dinner from the Crystal Maze experience as a company. The waiter greeted us enthusiastically, they seated us downstairs. We were a table of 14. The staff were excellent, super friendly and accommodating. We ordered bruschetta and olives for the table whilst we were picking our mains. The mains came out on good time. I ordered sea bass - massive portion! Tastes so good with mushrooms! They serve this with a small bowl of potatoes. Feedback from my colleagues all the pizzas tasted good. We had a birthday cake which they allowed us to drop off to the restaurant before hand. They did the candles, sang with us and they served us the cake so we didn’t have to. Overall had a blast and ideal for a corporate dinner downstairs. Thank you to the staff !

Deliciously authentic Italian cuisine 😋 This is where Italians go to eat Italian, everything is freshly made to order, the pizza is to die for! In regard to the seating and atmosphere, it’s not the comfiest of places, with hard wooden seating that is rather cramped. It’s also a loud environment, so if you’re hard of hearing or just want to chat, you’ll have to shout a bit or lip read. If this was a comfy more relaxing environment it would get a full 5 stars.

Lovely food and service from this very centrally located Italian restaurant. I recommend you make a booking as those without were turned away. The prices are incredibly reasonable for its location at £10.95 for a margherita. The profiteroles for dessert were divine and my calzone was very tasty.

Great little Italian restaurant just seconds away from there Garrick Theatre. Escalope Milanese was superb, and enjoyed the chocolate torte as well. Stay were friendly and efficient. The noise level is quite high when it gets busy which can make conversation difficult!

Just finished a terrific lunch here. The wood oven Neapolitan style pizza, capicolla, was excellent. I also ordered a side as I was craving some more veg and had the sautéed spinach. That in itself was worth the entire price of the lunch. Outstanding, especially with a light sprinkle of grated Parmesan which I asked for and they gladly applied. This is a gem in an area crowded with restaurants where most are found wanting for the lack of food quality and service. Go here.

We have been going to Sartori for 10 years. Food is good and actually Italian. Pizza is delicious, so are all the other plates. I would recommend to book as it gets very busy.

Great experience at Sartori. The place was very busy but service was quick. Food was excellent. Truly one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to outside of Italy. Would highly recommend if you are in central London.

We came here before the show. It's Italian food from Southern Italy, which I know and like. The sword fish was tasty and veal was o.k. The side for the fish supposed to be grilled peppers were substituted with potatoes. We were informed about the change?! It's a busy restaurant, so it's to book ahead, that's my advice. The service was friendly and fast.

Tuna steak, prawn pasta and fried seafood are my absolute favourites from my area in Italy, Puglia (Apulia). I was very delighted to be able to find such a great restaurant in London that brought me back to my hometown before I could have my second bite. Whether you’re Italian and you’re feeling nostalgic or you simply love Italian food (why wouldn’t you) then Sartori is the place to go.
