Great to see a new vegan pop-up in south London. I enjoyed the chocolate brownie milkshake, mac and cheese, and buffalo cauliflower wings. The fries and the accompanying garlic and tarragon dip were truly great. Sadly the Mc Who burger was disappointing (very strange texture and the bacon strips were very hard) and we thought the Green Giant (satay veg) would have been nicer warm. Otherwise a great evening during the soft launch. Will come back again soon to try some more dishes!

Pros: Good food, nice atmosphere Cons: Charges for tap water, very slow and inattentive service. Arrived when the place was completely empty except for one person. Wasn't sure if they were open as there were no staff present. Waited in the doorway for about 5 minutes and then someone finally appeared. Asked if we had a reservation, I said no. He browsed his computer for a bit then pointed us to a table, gave us some menus and disappeared. Felt a bit weird as it was basically empty. The table and chairs were extremely wobbly, so we grabbed some tissue from the bar to stick under a leg of the table. The menu looks amazing. Guy comes back and takes our drink order. We order coffees and tap water, which he brings. Turns out they charge £1 for tap water (oh but it's unlimited!) More people arrive, until it's about half full. We were then waiting half an hour before he came to take our order, and we were wondering whether you have to go to the bar to order Eventually he takes our order. Fry up, pancakes, two milkshakes. Food takes about 20 minutes. Milkshakes come out 5 minutes after we finished our food, in sticky milk bottles because it's dribbled down the side Very tasty! Would come back, but hoping for better service next time

This really was a great little find. Very funky venue with absolutely beautiful food and almost equally beautiful staff. One of the nicest roast dinners I’ve ever had a very encouraging experience for a new vegan like me. Everything on my plate was tasty and beautifully cooked. The staff are very friendly, but my only quibble is that the service seems to drop off once they’ve checked on your mains. We had to flag waiters down to order desert and get the bill. Other than that, this place is perfect. Do give it a go.

If you fancy to try vegan food and you are not necessarily vegan this is a perfect palce to start and explore their amazing food. Love the small plates and side dishes and they even have Vegroni.

So impressed by the creativity and execution of this restaurant. Some comfort food classics and other less expected dishes, all fully vegan. As a meat eater I was satisfied and really happy with all the flavours, I didn't think vegan food could be so tasty. The Mac and cheese is so creamy and delicious and the buffalo cauliflower 'wings' with 'blue cheese' were so sexy I will definitely by trying to recreate them at home. The desserts were also amazing and next time I am looking forward to trying one of the milkshakes as they looked superb.

I’m no vegan but I had such a wonderful experience and most importantly, the food was absolutely spectacular. I thought I’d leave and have to pick up a takeaway on the way home but fortunately I left completely satisfied. The cauliflower and burger were both incredible and I’ll certainly be attending again! The chef was also very nice, he happened to be on the floor and personally greeted us and answered questions we had. He was really nice and accommodating. Overall, A star experience!

I visited this restaurant last night - it was amazing. I've never written a review about anything before but as a meat eater, I feel like it is important to voice an opinion. The food was outstanding; tasty with great portion sizes and for the quality you're getting it's extremely reasonably priced. This is the perfect dinner and brunch spot for small groups where some may be vegan and others not. The vibe is also perfect it you want to grab a couple of drinks - can't wait to go again. Oh and the best part, it's in south London - no trekking to east!

I had an amazing experience at The Meet. It's definitely one of the best vegan restaurant I've been to. The food was extremely tasty especially the "Jerkin' Around wrap". The cocktail menu was also amazing with a really nice selection of smoked cocktails that taste delicious and look spectacular. The service was very good as well very professional and friendly staff. Definitely recommended!

Managed to find this gem a few weeks ago for Veganuary. I'm on the opposite of the vegan scale and do like my meat so this was quite new for me. My girlfriend and i tried a big variety of items on the menu including the special of 4 starters plus a main each and a shared desert. Couldn't fault one dish and each was exquisitely put together and delicious and very different to what i am used to. I like how they have played on non vegan dishes. We were surprised how good the value was for the quantity and quality and i think we managed to get a bottle red wine during happy hour. The service was good but could have been better. Would definitely return and have recommended to a few friends already. Keep up the good work!
