The veggie options are satisfying - grilled halloumi, falafel, potatoes, and hummus are all really delicious and filling! The service is quick. I always come back here for the authentic Middle-Eastern taste.
Ordered the mixed shawarma which was a sizeable portion and tasted good. The service was a bit haphazard and not as friendly as one would like.
I love a quality mixed grill from a Lebanese restaurant, and Hiba delivers just this. I also had some fried kibbe which, together with falafels are my favourite starters. These were nice and crunchy and had a great mince filling.
The mixed grill was done very well... the chicken was moist and succulent, the kafta broke apart so easily and had the right flavours, the lamb cubes were surprisingly good, usually these suffer in the mixed grill, being tough and chewy... these ones however were pretty good, especially considering they had travelled for at least 20 - 30 minutes.
Definitely be ordering again.
So I would give this place a 4 star but the Khanafah was to die for and worth the long long wait! Seriously we waited a long time for the Khanafah but when it came..... My God!
They've good reasonably priced food. The staff seems to always be stretched thin and the place is pretty pink! But I like the ambience
Recommend the Khanafah (order it half way through your meal and make sure you are not in a rush)
Our favorite place for Lebanese in town. Small unassuming place which is quite popular amongst office goers during lunch with some superb food. Can be difficult to find a table and the service is a bit slow as they have less staff but the food more than makes up for it. And very reasonably priced too.
Excellent food, excellent service by friendly, helpful staff. Even though we visited on last Friday evening before Christmas we never felt that we were being rushed, the staff allowed us to relax and enjoy the food. As the restaurant does not have an alcohol licence if you wish to, you can visit the the supermarket opposite whilst your food order is being prepared.. Wholeheartedly recommend this place for its quality and friendliness.☺
A great place to eat a late dinner as it's the only place in Holborn serving a good, freshly made meal late at night. Their Shish Taouk and Garlic Mayo used to be my late night staple. The portions are generous and well worth the price. Always good, always recommended.
Right in front of the holborn tube station, its a Mediterranean treat..delicious shawarma & al fresco dining with hukkah..i would regularly end up here during my london stay,only downside seemed to be they lacked staff..but i wouldnt mind ordering myself at the counters for such finger licking food..waiting to be back..
Lovely place, albeit little crowded... Good service... Good food... Very good portions, so order carefully. Book a table. Without doubt good place to eat some nice Lebanese Food

Hiba Express always seemed to me that it was a takeaway place. This is the impression that I got from its name or maybe because at a quick glance, it looks like a really small eatery. But this is definitely not the case. It is a proper restaurant and it also does takeaways. There is some cordoned off seating by the entrance and inside the restaurant it is a lot bigger than first expected. All the food is cooked fresh and I got the impression that it would be fairly busy at lunchtimes for takeaways, as there were dedicated order points and collection points. At the back of the Hiba Express, was a colourful display of all the fresh fruits that would be used for the fresh juices and for desserts! A selection of hot and cold mezze were ordered. You can never go wrong with the classic Moutabal Baba Ghanouj with its creamy consistency of the puree of the grilled aubergine with sesame paste and lemon juice. It was topped with the red jewels of pomegranate! Another favourite was the Grilled H

The other meals we got were alright.
The lemon and mint was too sugary for our liking.
The seating is really good especially if you can sit down stairs.
Good halal restaurant
I had lunch here in late August this year. The sea bass was awesome! All of the sides were top notch. Everything was bursting with well balanced taste. The restaurant is very well decorated. They serve coffee with complimentary baklava. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, especially Zineb.
I had a fantastic dining experience at this Lebanese restaurant in London. The meat shawarma was absolutely excellent, packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The speedy service was a pleasant surprise, and the staff, especially Mohamed and Hasan, were incredibly friendly and attentive. Their warm hospitality added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for a delightful Lebanese cuisine experience.
We stumbled upon this gem when looking for a late night bite to eat. Luckily they were open until 12. The food was delicious: we had the cold mezze and grilled seabass. The meat was juicy and the salads were fresh and tasty. The service was great, the staff was attentive and danced to lively music while closing.

Lovely food. Very friendly service. The lamb chops were great. Loved the vine leaves and falafel. Mixed grill was also very good. We tried the cheese sambousek and we both thought they could have some more stuffing and a bit of salt in them.
Don’t be fooled by the recent fake 1star reviews that were posted out of hatred. The staff are so sweet and my chicken shawarma was so delicious (meat was clean and not fatty at all which was a nice change). I would recommend and I’m excited to try the rest of the menu!
Went for late lunch with colleagues. Food was great . Took quite a significant time to serve imagining as they prepare everything fresh. Everyone loved the food and it’s authenticity.
A lovely place serving incredible Lebanese and Palestinian dishes! The staff are also wonderful and charming!
The most delicious flavours (like SO good) and a really fun vibe — there was great music and the staff were friendly and happy! (Sorry for the bad photo, I ate too much of it straightaway!)
