Amazing place in London. I love the food. can’t wait to come back here again. Congratulations to the staff.
Lives up to its impeccable reputation. The place is buzzing with noise and the food is awesome. The starters were amazing but the black cod was simply sensational. It just melted in the mouth. The tuna and salmon taco with the tomato salsa was excellent. The tuna was unbelievably soft and the salmon was lip smacking. The Edamame was super crispy!
Getting quality sushi here in London is really very rare. They have good quality of shushi. And some good quality and authentic Japanese dish.
We had high expectations to try one of Nobu’s restaurants, so we tried the one located in the center of London, at Berkeley Street (@nobuberkeleyst). We started in the ground floor at the bar, with an intimate atmosphere, where we selected our drinks. Already at our table, in the upper level, we went for an assortment of small dishes in a trip around Asian food from tacos with king crab and tuna up to usuzukuri and lobster tempura. Although the food was exciting when seen from the menu, the price list made us remember that once this was a Michelin star restaurant. Also the ambiance around the table was noisy and confused, no dress code needed, which made this experience below expectations.
Our rating - 4/5
Lovely Japanese cuisine selection here. The atmosphere in the night I’ve been was beautiful, very busy place. The design express more simplicity, but it s more about the food. Each dish that i had from sashimi, sushi, small vegetables plate to main dishes like cod were very tasty and unique. I recommend this place for food!
I am such a regular here because the food is always top notch and it’s buzzing with a great atmosphere Thursday-Sunday eve. Service always excellent. They need to work on their desserts though... skip it here and have it at novikov opposite. Lobster salad, yellowtail roll, aubergine miso and chicken skewers are must haves. If ur looking for a faultless date or business lunch, this is your place.
One of the best Japanese restaurants ever.. sushi and sashimi are just perfect .. black cod is a must try. The service was great. We had all the mochi flavors for dessert and it was the cherry on top for a great experience
After trying nobu branch in Dubai, tonight was my first experience in london nobu in mayfair...the variety of drinks was good , sake was a bit heavy but it's what supposed to be...we ordered soybeans, sushi, sashimi, beef skewers, shrimp tempura and spinach salad alongside with chocolate fondant( i don't remember the menu name maybe bento or smt like that)...everything was tasty and the staff were quick and friendly..i liked their presentation and how they serve dishes back to back...definitely recommended.
Amazing food, incredible service and impeccable decor. Nobu has outdone itself once again and continues to serve mouth watering sushi and dessert
First time Nobu experience and the staff and food was amazing! Drinks also very good. Nothing to complain about. Atmosphere very elevated. Great options for gluten and dairy free!
Stunning! Lovely food. Expensive? Then don't go. Nice clientele too. Not like The Ivy's chavs and spivs.
So I went to Nobu London for an anniversary where I believe at the time they were doing a 7 or 8 course meal.
I have to say the food was very good and surprisingly filling for how small the courses were - I guess they add up! 😅
They also had good alcoholic and non-alcoholic selection of cocktails and drinks for those that like to drink 🍹
The place looks beautiful, and it really sets a romantic and chilled vibe, I loved it.
However, be prepared to pay for the experience - if I’m not mistaken everything together including drinks was about £400, but it was definitely worth the experience and the service was some of the best I’ve seen in London asian cuisine restaurants.
Went here recently for my birthday lunch. I am a huge sushi fan but have been to quite a few sushi restaurants all over the world and I know nobu is considered quite pricey so I'll be honest I was half expecting it to be a bit of a disappointment. Maybe one of those places you go once to try and don't go back because as nice as it is, there's others that are just as nice but cheaper. I have to say, I was wrong. The food was out of this world. We got a nice selection to try as many things as we could and absolutely everything we had was divine. I had the lychee crush alcohol free cocktail which was absolutely gorgeous. Food wise we had nigiri salmon,
Crispy nori sushi cup with spicy tuna
& salmon and avocado (these were my faves) Shrimp tempura maki & soft shell crab maki + Chicken skewers. Honestly if I could afford to I would eat there every day! The staff were very welcoming, helpful and attentive. They even brought out a little birthday treat for me at the end. We had a lovely table overlooking the park and it was a really hot sunny day so overall was a beautiful day out in London. Will definitely be back soon and highly recommend. We went theatre straight after and was loads of cabs outside (it's next to the Hilton so have a constant flow of mini cabs).
Ate here with my cousin, went for the signature omakase taster which consisted of six courses, three cold dishes, two hot dishes and a dessert.
The salmon tartare with caviar was nice but slightly overpowered by the wasabi sauce, however the Japanese plum palette cleanser had a really nice sweetness to it.
The sashimi salad also tasted great, especially the onion sauce which brought the dish together for me.
The nigiri tasted really fresh and it was really lovely to taste a bit of each fish.
The black miso cod tasted amazing, it was cooked perfectly, only let down on this was the miso sauce was overly sweet.
Beef was divine, it was really tender and I could cook it slightly more if we found it too rare however it was perfectly cooked, mushrooms were very flavourful.
Finally dessert was my favourite course, the chocolate bento box with green tea ice cream was balanced incredibly well. The green tea ice cream didn’t overpower the chocolate and instead made the molton chocolate cake feel complete and not overly sweet.
Staff were very friendly and all dishes were explained upon receiving them.
Although we did wait quite a while between each dish all in all it was an amazing dinner. Thanks to the staff there who served us and I would love to try the other nobu’s!!!
Nobu is always amazing and this London location did not disappoint!! Everything was amazing, I wish I could have eaten more. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I went at 6pm when it opened and it was not as busy. Great location, just across from Hyde Park and near the Ritz. Definitely recommend!!
Was a great vibe, and the service was on point. Very attentive, and the food was delicious. I will definitely go back again. I had a fabulous night, and the drinks were constantly flowing. Absolute winner of a celebration 😊
One of the first Nobu opened out of Japan some 20 years ago, same location for many years. Famous Japanese restaurant opened by Chef Nobu and Hollywood celebrity. Modern Japanese cusine. When it first opened 20years ago, it was a big hit but the restaurant is showing its age. Many newcomers are better these days. Nobu became too commercial and lost its niche. Nevertheless, the food is not bad. Can try
Fresh Japanese food good for lovers of high end Japanese experiences. Not for the budget minded diner but a vibrant and healthy eating experience in a great section of London.
Had a very tasty and great meal here. Authentic Japanese food. I sat right Infront of the chefs working and preparing the food and it was great to watch them work. The service was brilliant with a nice atmosphere and ambience but the highlight was the food. The flavours were outstanding and my taste buds were dancing. The combination of texture and flavour work very well and nobu created something very unique. Highly recommended to come here.
